Bill poor was able to connect at 7150 this past Saturday in Texas. I was able to be part of the team that did this.

At the events that I host I only use AR 500 to 1500 yards past that mild steel has worked for me, but most people are shooting solid copper and match rifles not heavy 50 cal rounds that do damage to steel. I would for sure get only AR-500 for anything under 1500, better to buy once cry once...

If you want to come shoot in the competition sure, but for this event the only allowed rifles in are competitors and the vendors. I can schedule you to come out to the range and shoot if you want? The big range first target is a mile with targets out to 4900 yards.
