    AR15 upper recommendations possibly 6.8 or 6.5

    Re: AR15 upper recommendations possibly 6.8 or 6.5 I looked into getting a 6.5 some time ago, I couldn't find any ammo for it at a reasonable price. I would go with the 6.8. It is easier to find ammo for. And for what you want to do with it, the ballistics should be more than adequate.

    I'm looking into getting a m1a, I'm torn over what barrel length to get. I would like to here pro's cons on the 18" scout and the std 22" m1a's. Are the barrels threaded and if so what thread pitch? I probably won't shoot it past 600yds. What kind of accuracy should I expect out of these...
