    it seems to take a little longer to do it this way...but it makes perfect sense. I think I will start take care of my brass. thanks for the great write up.

    Cheaper walnut media?

    CHEAP WALNUT MEDIA I live in a fishing town so there are a few marine supply stores. If you can go to one and ask for walnut media for non-skid. I bought a 50lb bag for $20. works great and every other tumbler bowl full I add about a cap full of Nu Finish to it.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Knife question , please help!

    Gerber LMF ll great for cutting down 6in trees for shelter building. Maybe not so great around town, up here in Alaska it's very usefull.
