Rifle Scopes Question about the IOR 4x24 tactical

Re: Question about the IOR 4x24 tactical Have you looked at the POSP line of scopes? A little on the heavy side, but durable as hell and very good for the money. http://kalinkaoptics.com/review/product/list/id/298/category/23/ By "on a cam", they mean that the "clicks" that normally...

    Fieldcraft Neat little binocular trick

While fiddling with my binos earlier today, I realized that you could use the prisms to see over objects without exposing yourself. See the prism layout? If we prop the lens up like this and use it as a monocular... We can easily see what's on the other side without sticking our head out...

Mosin with PSO-1, slight cant issue

Re: Mosin with PSO-1, slight cant issue Nevermind guys, got it worked out after some time with a level and a plumb bob. I'm pretty sure it was just me... anyways, I'll try it at long range sometime and we'll see if I'm right. Thanks for the help!

Mosin with PSO-1, slight cant issue

Hello to everyone at the Hide. My little summer project last year was a 91/30 with a PSO-1 side mount that allowed for the use of a Romanian LPS Tip-2 scope. Things went swimmingly and it shoots great after some trigger work, free-floating and bedding, grouping in a tight 1" cluster with...

    Fieldcraft Poncho-type Ghillie (pic heavy)

Re: Poncho-type Ghillie (pic heavy) Thanks, give it a shot! This one was made with just plain fishnet and dyed jute. Nothing else to it. I cut a hole in the center and made a hood out of extra fishnet. Good ventilation.

Fieldcraft Ghillie using a tactical mesh

Re: Ghillie using a tactical mesh Neato. That mesh gives fantastic cover for it's size and weight.

Shooting on Power Line Trails in SC

Re: Shooting on Power Line Trails in SC I'll ask around then. A relative of mine owns quite a bit of land with a few lines running through it. Maybe they'll let me shoot on them.

Shooting on Power Line Trails in SC

Is this legal? Does the property belong to individuals or to the state? They seem like they would make nice little ranges.

    Fieldcraft Poncho-type Ghillie (pic heavy)

Re: Poncho-type Ghillie (pic heavy) That's actually a really smart idea. Hair conditioner, huh? If I can find some scentless stuff, I'll try it. I don't have access to a jet ski, but I do have a truck and some dirt roads. Think that'd tear it up too much?

    Fieldcraft cape?

Re: cape? I've always heard it called a Plash Palatka by the Russkies. It's pretty much just a repurposed shelter half like the other guys stated.

    Fieldcraft Poncho-type Ghillie (pic heavy)

Re: Poncho-type Ghillie (pic heavy) I'll keep an eye out for them then. Maybe they can teach me a thing or two as well. Oh, quick question: How much of a detriment will the jute material on the front of my suit be while crawling or in prone? I didn't have much time to try it out today. Would...
