    PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

    I bought one of their solus PVA (I believe osprey barreled) deals last year in 6.5 prc and it is a hammer. It a 20" mtu that I run a 4" supressor. Shooting hand sized groups at 1025yrds...10/10 would buy again.

    New Federal Match?

    I have old federal match that I was using in local rimfire matches (in a stock barreled 455) but was running out and got 2 bricks of this. Deffinitly not the same stuff. I can't remember how bad it was but I put it away and hoped it would do better in one of the other guns.

    Shoots better now? I would think the mount being on the hand guard would negatively affect accuracy. *following for a future build.

    General purpose 308

    The bergara line is a great value. I have a 6.5cm premiere (now in a krg w3) that I shoot comps with and a 300wm hmr wilderness that just took an elk at 486yrs in the fog. Would buy both again in a heart beat.

    McCree percision lost alot of friends a few years back but still a hell of a chassis...this was my first build with an 11vt in 308 as a host and still my favorite kick around rifle.     Sick gun, not supprised it went in a hurry. How did you like the chassis? I was thinking of doing a simular (not switch barrel) build with an orgin and a MPR chassis for a short and light alternative to my 300wm for hunting. Did you open up the recoil yourself?

    Entry build options...

    I'm so glad I got this advice a few years ago. My $300 savage 11vt in 308 in a mcree percision (from before they were on the naughty list) with a dmr II-i is a beast. Not as smooth as the Bergara but 2000+ rounds later it is sub moa all day long and I don't have to worry about beating it up...
