    Hornady Lock-n-load. Been using it for years, no issues.

    Sig or Vortex rangefinder

    I have the Sig, my pard has a Vortex (model lower). They both work fine, but I prefer the reticle in Sig, color has a bit green/blue hue, but seems clearer than Vortex. If u had the choice, I'd get the Sig again.

    Opinions on a 223 boltgun build for my two boys

    I've owned both 5R and T3 Tactical (8 twist 20"). Tikka was more aaccurate with 40-69gr bullets, shot cheap 55gr bulklreloads better and is lighter. So, down the road the Remmy went. Don't get me wrong, it was still a great gun, but the Teeker did what I wanted in a smaller package.

    223 powder recommendation please

    Varget for heavies, TAC or H335 for the 55s. Both still cheap and easy to acquire
