My read there is if you order a contour that specs a .750" muzzle, you'll get a .750" muzzle if you order a 26" finish or a 20" finish. Versus standard measuring with .750" @ 26" and tapering back up, so you have to math your diameter at 20". Maybe I'm reading that incorrectly, though.
Stuck a set of calipers in the Element today, 3.210" magazine cutout on the receiver. Here's a quick snapshot comparing the top of the Element to a closed top Evo as well.
Any reason not to use the PRI handguard and top rail? They're still in production. Or are you wanting the rail to attach to any old existing handguard?
The standard Mack Evo takes Stiller two piece bases, the Ti takes Nosler pattern. The Element mimics the Evo, I think. I'll confirm in the morning when I can get all three of mine side by side
Yup. It's an OEM Solus action. Feels pretty nice, truthfully. I think I'd prefer a standard stock or a mini-chassis style setup, but it's definitely functional.
