Re: Remington 700 Police 338 Lapua rifles Hired gun is correct. I heated it up with a propane torch and it took about 1 1/2 minutes of flame before it finally let go. I kept the flame on the muzzle break only. I helped it with a rubber mallet on the screwdriver. Bent the screwdriver a little.

Re: magpul b.a.d. lever I have one on my LMT MRP and it works great. It works great during malfunction drills. I have not had any issues. I am not able to put one on my DPMS SASS because the upper has a cut out for the bolt release.

Re: 338 LM muzzle brake Check out this link. Ross is great. responds to emails within hours and ships the brake within a couple of days. I ordered one with a 1/8 inch relief to cover the $4 dollar 308 crush washer that I ordered from Brownell. No need to time the muzzle brake as the relief...

Re: rail for my rem 700 338Lapmag I just ordered a 20 moa rail from EGW. Thay said that they would drill it and sent 8-40 torx screws, all for about $50. they said that it would only take 3-4 days before it would ship.

Re: Best Military Sniper Movie. I know it is not a "sniper" movie, but I really like Sgt. York. I know its a movie, but the idea of someone taking a shot because he knew it would ultimately save lives, is the true premise of a snipers role.

Re: Muzzle brake I just sent Ross my payment and specs and he emailed back about 3hrs later and said it was done and he was shipping it. I told him I wanted it to fit my Rem MLR 338 lapua 5/8-24 and it was same price. $40 Not sure how to post a link to another thread, but look in the optics...
