I am thinking about putting one of these in my 300 Win Mag. Is any one currently using them? What do you think about it?

My new TAC 300 arrived yesterday. It is absolutely beautifully crafted. I ordered it at the end of March and got it 5 weeks later. Try that with some other popular action makers. The work is under way. Pictures to follow soon. James

congrats on your build! I'm not certain, but I think if you're chambering it in 300 wm, you may need to order the TAC300. Anyway, I hope your build turns out the way you want it. There's no doubt you're dealing with some good folks at Stiller.

Trigger Time is the best bet for a local dealer. If you're close to Denver I have Manners MCS T4 and T3 you could handle. Manners builds a great product and they stand by their work. If you want to compare the Manners to something else respected in the industry, I have a McMillan A4 you can...

I am running thr Badger fte on my 300WM. It works great. I can shoot it comfortably all day and spot my own hits.

Tim and Fritz do great work. They are great to deal with. Have a great time with a very interesting piece. You made me think about digging out 1 of my 2 336C's. Enjoy.

Do you have 250 pieces? Do you have Winchester brass?

You could buy the stock from Stocky's and send it to Manners. Purchase the mini stock from them and they'll install it at no additional charge for you. Then you'll know it's done perfectly. (and save some smithing fees.)

Thanks for all of the comments guys. Understood Chris. Not looking to get anyone in some mess. Anyone who can do this without it being a problem is what I'm seeking.

I have taken down my reloading setup. I don't have time for two hobbies and would rather spend time shooting. Is there anyone here who is producing custom loads for others? Can you recommend someone who you've done business with and know to be competent?

I have a dbm on a Savage stagger feed that Jeff @ CDI did for me. It is flawless. Your best bet would be to give Jeff a call (941-961-3185) He or Pam will get you squared away immediately. And if you decide to ditch that stock, then order a nice Manners stock and send them Jeff's bottom metal...

Carp, The old style 700 Sendero is a great base for a new project. I would keep as a 300 win mag and have it revitalized. I just did one with a 26' ss Bartlein in medium palma contour. It rides in a Manners MCS T3 and is a great piece. You will probably want to replace that trigger and put some...
