Muzzle Brake needed!
Yes I agree to do research with any product. If you end up going with Witt Machine make sure you use a caliper to measure your barrel. The only problems I have heard about them is when people do not measure their barrels correctly.- wittyhunter

Muzzle Brake needed!
I have a Witt Machine clamp on custom brake on my .30-06 and it feels like Im shooting an AR. It has done no harm to my barrel and it looks pretty sweet. New guy, AR shopping, looking for advice and wisdom
Lots off good options out there. If you happened to want to build one yourself I did this: Stag Arms lower: 130 Parts kit: 70 Magpul Stock:100 PSA Midwest Industry Rail upper: 400 Witt Machine AR Muzzle Brake: 89 Leupold AR scope: 350 with mounts 1,139 Out the door. Gunsmithing Muzzle brake on small dia barrel
I would think you have enough room with the 1/2-28 threads. Most muzzle brakes will leave a little room for the bullet to travel freely. The muzzle brakes that leave too much room will allow the gases to follow the bullet out the muzzle and that basically defeats the purpose of a muzzle brake. I...- wittyhunter
