Just got my new stock for my savage 308. So its time to complete the gun for now.
The gun has a threaded barrel so I wanna put something on it and not a supressor.
So looking at either a compensator or muzzle break.
I know neither of these are quiet but any of em that are more silent...
thanks for the info They will mainly only be used at distances of 300+ so they should last just didn't wanna waste money on a target thats gonna break with less than a box of 7mm hitting it.
Looking for some metal targets than can handle some umph at 100-500yards.
They will be getting shot by 308,270,30-06,7mm mag, 300win mag.
The smaller the target the better.
I am not sure like I said i have always just guessed my shot and let her fly. But if the weather allows I'm gonna do some shooting this weekend and i will try it out.
Alright i have been hunting for years and have multiple kills over400yards but i always have just gone by the drop balistics guessed the height and shot and although this hasnt failed me. I would like to be able to make scope adjustments to remove the guess work.
So my question is if a scope...
Debating on using quick release rings so I can switch from my gen 1 night vision to my day scope instead of buying 2guns any recommendations on quick release rings
