I'm not sure where to post this. I have been looking at a custom lightweight edge build over on Gunbroker. I don't have any experience with the Ti actions but they seem neat. Any input as far as this being a good deal or to stay away would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
I wouldnt destroy a valuable M2. I would buy one already ruined ie. drilled and tapped and metal work refinished. a few cheep ones pop up now and then that have been sporterized. The question still remains. Will the 03 stock fit a 1922?
Anybody build there own log cabin in the wilderness(or private property)? I would think this would be a good idea and skill set. I was told some wilderness areas you can build a trapper cabin as long as it only has 3 sides. Maybe somebody has more info on the subject.
The trigger kit is nice because it has lighter springs and a longer firing pin to enhance reliability. I have put a few of them in and the trigger pull is very nice. It should be around 9 lbs
The tooling marks appear to be more so in the metal, with real fine marks in the carbon fiber. I guess I could polish the metal on a barrel spinner once its ready to install then use scotch brite on the carbon fiber?
some brownings (dont remember which model at the moment) have 32 tpi reciever threads which strip if you look at them wrong. Most Smiths dont like eating reciever costs
