NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

That's the deeper version of the sear which we went away from. If you've got decocking issues, updating the cocking piece will be worse for the system. Please email me directly ([email protected]) and we'll come up with a game plan. Thank you - Ray

    Yes, that is correct.

I know they're a relatively popular choice, but we see/hear more people running TT and BnA. Again, if it's working for you, keep rolling with it.

None at all. I'm a firm believer in leaving things that work alone.

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

RimX's in that serial number range will run well with both TriggerTech and Bix N Andy triggers with the standard (medium) sear. There are RimX's with lower serial numbers that would favor a lower sear. If you're ever in concern about that, simply take a picture of the back edge of the cocking...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Anything after R03000 will be good to go with the medium sear but should also work with the low sear. If there's a question as to what would work in a specific system, we'd just need to see a picture of the back of the cocking piece to determine what will work best in that system. If you've...

    Origin Triggers

I agree that thinking of cock on close as a problem is a misrepresentation of a problem. I believe that it should be treated more as a personal preference situation for the individual. We have cocking pieces that deviate from our standard size that accommodate for cock on close being realized...

    Origin Triggers

TriggerTech triggers end up with as close to zero cock on close when installed on an Origin as any trigger we've worked with. We function test every action with a TT Special.

    Zermatt Origin bolt/firing pin loose

If it's just wiggling, it shouldn't be an issue. If you can turn the shroud more than half of a turn on the firing pin, email me and we'll get you sorted out. Thanks - Ray

    Zermatt Origin bolt/firing pin loose

In that specific situation, you need to remove one set screw and loosen the second one installed. Then, tighten the shroud on the pin completely and back it off three quarters to one full turn. Secure it in place with one set screw then reinstall the second with a small amount of blue Loctite...

    New Zermatt Lapua action

I'm sorry I missed this! We don't have any solid commitment to provide on availability. There are various parts that are already made, some in process and some parts to start producing completely. We still believe we'll have it available this summer. It's possible that aspects of this design...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Thank you for providing this feedback. Rest assured, we'll get it sorted out. I'd like to send you a return label for your barreled action to bring it in for inspection to see what else may be going on. We have not seen anything like this at this point, so we want to see what else may be going...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

A geometry change was made to create more contact between the bolt body and the receiver at the leading edge of the closing cam as well as a material state change to increase durability. Thank you - Ray

Replacement parts are out for their final process right now. We expect them back later this week or early next week and will begin distributing them to those that have contacted us and have provided an address to have that replacement sent to. Thanks - Ray
