Re: Wipe out bore cleaner I use the wipeout as well as the accelerator but still leave it overnight if possible. Patches come out deep blue so I think it works well. I have yet to clean it after with another cleaner to see if wipeout got it all.
Re: Thunder Beast Arms - New Brake-Attach Suppressors I know you said that you are too busy to take up custom work at this time. Would making a 30p break with a .223 sized hole and 1/2 x 28 threads instead of the standard .308 be something available in the future? Or even a 6mm sized break? I...
Re: ? about barrel bunners I don't have a lot of burned out barrels, but I started shooting a 243 so I will someday. Basically anytime you neck a cartridge down like 308win to 243 you will have the same amount of powder going down a smaller tube. This is overbore and with the reduced...
Re: Those running DBM`s, how many mags? I have 4 AIAW mags for my Savage. Never needed that many, but was putting in an order and at the time they were hard to get a hold of.
Re: Braking effect of a suppressor OPS INC silencers at ADCO These go back over the barrel as reflex designs do. From what I have read is baffles in front of the muzzle are vastly more efficient than a large blast chamber behind the muzzle. Since silenceres are expensive and paperwork is...
Re: Actions that feed AW mags I had my Savage milled out so it would feed from AW mags. Figured it originally feed from a staggered mag so it should work, and it has. I bought the CDI bottom metal and had them inlet my stock and do the mods to the action. Fast turnaround and quality work...
Re: 308 QA/QD Suppressor Mount Comparisons I have yet to see any feedback on SAS's new QD can, but it looks sweet. At the same time the tried and true threads that they have on the muzzle break may allow for a more consistent mount. IDK I would love to see someone with the new mount.
Re: SPR Build Done Towards the end of this video he shows the what I guess would be the new true QD model. Reason I asked about the thread was I had read some post about how the threads were cut incorrectly. They were a few years back, and you know how things spread 3rd or 4th hand on...
Re: SPR Build Done Do you have the thread on over muzzle break version, or the true QD SAS model? Have you had any problems with accuracy, or threads not being correct on you silencer or mounts?
Re: My Mosin Build If you are shooting surplus ammo reloading will help. The reason is more consistency. Better jackets on the bullets, better primers, better brass, more consistent powder charges... You don't need a top of the line reloading setup to make better ammo than 60 yr old...
Re: Las Vegas Precision Tactical Rifle Match 2/5/11 They like to very it up, sometimes the mover is out there, sometimes the barricade. I won't be attending. I think my scope has some tracking issues.
Re: SAS Suppressors are NICE!!! KYS338 I did not mean to start anything, I just saw Lowlights review of the sandstorm where he said he liked single point cans better. http://snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1874800#Post1874800 <div class="ubbcode-block"><div...
