    Same issue in a SPS Tac chambered in .223 (10 plus years ago), machining debris in the bolt lug pockets. Gave it a deep clean and it was good to go, did leave some scarring on top of the lugs though. Still have it, sucks ass with factory ammo but will stack handloads, I’d expect nothing less...

    If you can find an older model (before the og USO folded) for a decent price pick it up. Never looked through any of the new stuff but at the Foundation lines price point most people aren’t going to take a gamble, they’re going to pick up a NF, S&B, Vortex, etc.

    I’ve noticed as I got more time behind the GRID ret the grid pattern “fades” into the background, it doesn’t hinder what ever your aiming at. It’s there if you need it for a hold over. That being said the TRID is high on my list, finally S&B has a decent tree ret that isn’t a Horus.

    Why so many ZCO's for sale in the PX?

    To me it seems there are a lot more NF 7-35’s than ZCO’s listed in the PX. The ZCO’s tend to go quick. It’s the optics game, buy it, try it, sell it, then chase “perfection” by buying the next latest and greatest piece of glass. Rinse and repeat.

    Cruise the PX and get a lightly used S&B PMII or a NF 7-35. That’s going to be the most bang for your buck.
