Thanks. I looked but I guess I'm just dumb. I went ahead and did the ink at my buddies already anyway. The digital ones would have helped but the paper ones don't slow down a efile form 4 at all so, it doesn't really matter. I will know for next time now though. Thanks

Yeah I've done it at my local police 2 times now but my buddy is a Smith and manufacturer and he made the suppressor I'm getting so I just did ink prints at his place. It just would have been easier to get digital copies to send in and have on hand for next time. It's no biggie though.

I get so pissed looking at these and I’m just 5 months in on a paper form 4! I can only i get lucky like a few do and get approved while the weather is warm.
 
What number are people using to call and check on their status? I have one right at a year and am tempted to call to see if it's even be assigned.

Yup. If it’s approved, they instantly say “it’s approved”.

If they go into the “this was received on this date, bla bla bla” it’s still pending.

For all of y'all hating on the eforms approvals, I got denied because somehow after my form-4 went from "US Citizen" on SS signed documents, to a "NON-US Citizen" when it went into the ATF system.

I'm going to cry in a corner now :ROFLMAO:

Sad part is you will get the error fixed and approved before many of us paper people get approved

Good morning all, I have had a paper trust for my NFA items for several years and occasionally follow this thread.
My question is this, can I somehow E-file for “new items” and still use my original paper trust? My intent is to continue to keep any new items conveniently inclusive with the years old trust. Any input is greatly appreciated. TIA

yes, you'll just file as a trust, same process as normal F4, you'll just need to provide any supporting documents and responsible party prints in electronic format instead of physical.

Got good news today, and this has been a good week!
Efile Dead Air Nomad LT: certified 19 January
Approved 8 April

2 cans paper Form 4's submitted in July and check cashed 14 July. Got the stamps today at the dealer.

1 can submitted in July and Check cashed in August. Dealer called and this one came in with the other 2. Looks like I got batch approved when my Efile went through.

This is the kind of shit that makes me just fucking hate the ATF

I'm very glad that @AFGWS got his cans.

But while his paper forms took 9 months, there are others who are over a year.

How the fuck can the ATF not just do first in first out.....FFS. It ain't that hard.

Crazy… I remember my first one came back in 3 months

Submitted a F4 back in August , guess we’ll see how long it takes

Might have to buy something else via eform to cheer myself up in the meantime
 
Good news here. Purchased a .300blk SBR from Vance Outdoors 10/21, stamp came in yesterday. Purchased a sparrow .22 from another dealer same day, it's stamp came in yesterday as well. Just shy of 6 months. Individual.
 
^thats the shit that chaps my ass, how the hell did you get a 6 month wait? An FFL at a range I went to last weekend mentioned that he can have them turned around in 10-11 months, is that possible from an FFL??

I have a F/A waiting on a stamp, that's been 8.5 months. Maybe it'll be in this batch. Prior to this (2019), the last ones were 6mos, prior 10 months.
I called the ATF a few weeks back and they said "current is about 8 months."
