I’ve replaced 3 stock knobs/bolt knob adapters and they have all just unscrewed with a tiny bit of effort plus a hex wrench to remove the stub.
Just swapped out a 22" Heavy Palma for a 20" proof.
Saved 4 lbs of weight.

I was finally able to stretch her legs at 300yrds.

When getting a shouldered pre fit you could put it on either a long or short action? I.e. you have a 7saum barrel on a short right now and want to run them long so you go buy a long action TL3 in order to run the freedom seeds longer in the case, and it all works just fine
I do not believe so. I think the TL3 short action is different and the TL3 long action and Origin are the same. I know I have seen them listed in prefits that way. @bohem and insight?
Yes the origin Short action and the TL3 Long Action use the same prefit Tenion Length.
I use a TL3 LA on my 6.5CM so i can load long and mag feed.

TL3 Short tenion is different.
Just to be as clear as I can be.
The tl3 short action is the only one that’s different and is a shorter tenon because it accommodates the aw mags increased footprint in the action.

Can honestly say Ive never seen a .222 build since everyone knows the 223 but it’scool and different to see something that’s a little bit of an oddball to most people.
That’s the barrel I’ll be going with next. Just took possession of my TBAC 338 Ultra. Subs are ridiculously fun with that can.
I’ve got another iteration of my build coming along , switching up the 308 for a 223 for tac division next season.
Just finished slapping this together for the upcoming deer season. It'll go in a Manners Pro Hunter next season to drop a little weight and then this stock will get built up with a 6.5CM Proof Carbon Prefit on another TL3 action and topped with a ZCO 420 or the new 2-16x for NRL Hunter. It came in at 10lbs 1oz as she sits without mag/ammo, bipod or can.

Guess I should add the newest barrel added to the TL3 for this thread. This is the PVA 26” 7 twist Comp Contour with flutes in 6mmARC. Just shot it today and it’s a blast. Low recoil and accurate.
Yeah they are amazing! @bohem and crew do a great job on the fluting so anyone interested in it check out PVA!
