I bought the atlas AFAR kit for like 34 bucks or whatever it was. It works fine.
Yes, the BT28 AFAR rail kit works fine. I did have to shorten the screws a bit so they didn't hit the Anschutz rail.
The nuts in the AFAR kit will also work if you want to attach an ARCA rail too.

Mine came with two sets of screws, one set fit fine, and one set was too long.

Mike, I hate hearing there was a fatal accident. Certainly makes one stop and think. Prayers sent.
Even through all of this, once again, you deliver. We appreciate you, Mike !!!

Let me correct that it was an officer down on his motorcycle few broken bones but thank God he's going to pull through. Actually found out it was a friend ugh...

Thanks for the prayers and kindness

Dueling Deltas.
The 18" one is in the classic .308. The 20" one in 6.5CM.
Have a Tac-30 that will work with either.
Both are built on Surgeon actions and both have the lightweight and amazing March 4.5-28x52 scope
Both are among the most accurate rifles I have ever shot! And the actions are so smooth!
To borrow from Porsche - "there is no substitute!"

Took a couple edits to get the images correct!

A man of culture and class, I see. What?! I am NOT saying that because I also own a Delta with a March FX on it. It’s down to the Delta’s obvious superiority ;-).

I’m a bit bummed that I’ll have to take leave to shoot it, but man is it sweet. I still can’t get over shooting the single most impressive group of my life off a shitty shooting bag canted at 45 deg with a MSv3 strapped on it… and knowing I “blew“ the group when I did it.

i have an older Schmidt mounted on my shorty Tango, but my goal is to move my March FX to it. the big S&B x56 goes on the XRay when it comes in.

I built this platform for a class act customer...

Today is a special day for me and two years in the making. I was lucky enough to own a Tango 51 and a Tango 66 for several years. After a serious medical issue I was forced to sell them both. Thankfully I have recovered 100% and have again been fortunate to obtain a, non standard, dream build from Mike. He is an OUSTANDING person, friend, and amazing rifle-smith. I can’t thank him enough for being open to this build and all the little details he put into it above and beyond. I saved the best pic for last !View attachment 7589643View attachment 7589651View attachment 7589644View attachment 7589645View attachment 7589646View attachment 7589648View attachment 7589647View attachment 7589650

I'm short-timing on an incoming 66. I have some questions you guys may be able to help me with. I bought some FGMM .300 WM 190grSMK when it showed up about a month ago. There was a dimensional discrepancy with the .308 FGMM 165s from that run that caused people some problems in both chambering the round and it's accuracy. Have anyone here, used that run of .300WM, and had similar problems. In looking at the .330WM 190s it appears to have the the less defined shoulder to neck that is evident in the .308s.

I had 1 round from the 80 190 fgmms that failed to chamber. All the others, including the 215 berger FGMMs chambered quite easily. We’ll see how accuracy goes soon enough when i get out to the range, but so far no issues with 190s, 220s, and 215s fitting in the mag and chambering.

Thinking a Skinner Peep sight with adjustable rear aperture should be ideal for my X-Ray brush gun.

It's not for pussies.
That's for sure.... when I hit 40 something, my ability to see things up close went to shit.... was working on the car one day and like 'fuck' I can't see this.... been nothing but down hill from there.
