Suppressors with muzzlebrakes.

Guwarrior head honcho is one of the world's top PRS shooters and the company makes chassis, brakes, suppressors etc at competitve prices .
I am importing a bunch of their products shortly if the UPS doesn't screw it up.

Was just trolling through their website. Very nice stuff. Sent a link on to an SA friend of mine.

Suppressors with muzzle brakes and tuners on them

South African Gunwarrior

Wow, even with a tuner!

That'll give some a boner :censored:

Me… until I saw they were aluminum
In SA like in Europe Suppressors are fairly cheap and not meant last forever so plenty of aluminum cans on the market . These things cost less than you pay for tax stamp , US market is distorted towards more expensive cans because of the tax stamp.

well thats about the oddest thing i've seen in awhile. can't say i'd chose one but if they made something that suppressed flash for first round pop a little more that would be nice.

my old AAC stuff on a short barrel still flashes enough to shut off my PVS-17 scope.

Finally got some Gunwarrior gear on the stock.

Shorty standard, with tuner, and with tuner and suppressor brake.

I can only directly compare 7" Ultra & 7" SiCo Omega with brake at end shooting

Overall, I think the Ultra is the better can and would recommend it over the Omega. (go CB mount)

That said, the Omega recoils slightly less than the Ultra shooting the same .223 ammo (69gr SMK) out of a 24" barrel.

I assumed it was a gimmick, but I think it works.

Very noticeable difference between bare muzzle .308 vs Omega w/ brake on it as well.

The Omega 300 Anchor Brake works really well. I have an A-Bolt 3 in 300WM (7lb naked, 10 lb w/ bipod, scope, etc) that kicks hard without any muzzle device. With a brake, it is more tame but my face still feels the concussion.

The Omega 300 turns that recoil into a longer slower push, no concussive blast/force, and reduced recoil. Another person a few stalls down at the range had an Omega 300 as well and his muzzle report was like someone slapping a heavy phone book on the table. It was far far nicer to shoot. I couldn't believe it was the same 300WM rifle.

My Omega 36M doesn't have the anchor brake, and the rifle still kicks pretty hard although not as fast.

The Omega 36M and Omega 300 are similar in size/shape and number of baffles (Omega 36M has 1 additional baffle and is slightly longer).

I am not sure about longer cans (TBAC Magnus) or cans with more baffles (e.g. OCL Hydrogen S), although I am tending to think those won't cut down much recoil versus the Omega 36M.

I suspect the people that feel the Anchor Brake is a gimmick are shooting lightweight calibers. I have heard the Anchor Brake works more and more effectively with bigger magnum cartridges.

Bigger cartridges with more gas to expel will be more likely to utilize the brake feature.

A 6BR probably won't have much use for a brake at the end of the suppressor, given that it's an effective suppressor.

Yep. Which is why I see most of the 223/308 lighter caliber shooters say the anchor brake didn't make a difference. It is a huge night/day difference with 300WM. I have a Magnus waiting for Form 4 approval, but I'd like to test that on the 300WM to see if a longer can with more baffles is going to have an impact.

I own an Omega and recently obtained an Abel Biscuit-S. I really like how it feels. Instead of the typical slow push of a can, it’s a faster push. Not as fast as a muzzle brake though. I don’t have a problem with staying on target after breaking the shot with the Biscuit-S. It essentially does what I want it to do. Eliminate concussion and at the same time giving me a faster recoil impulse.

The Biscuit has a great recoil impulse.

I have the regular sized version, and love it. Works almost as effectively as a decent muzzle brake in my experience.

Interesting. Isn't the Abel Biscuit-S kind of like the same idea as a quieter Resonator-K? Cut down on the concussion a bit.

I recently sent my Rex MG7K to ECCO to have the front chopped in order to be able to run Dead Air front caps and the Ebrake. I notice a difference with the Ebrake but it’s not super dramatic on a 6.5CM.

Yup it keeps me on target. A very quick up and down is all I get. The target stays within view.

I wish I could tell you. I don’t know Abel’s design philosophy on the S model.
