It's more likely that will simply openly steal the next election. After the massive amount evidence was exposed and nothing happened, they no longer are worried about fallout. It's surprising actually how little the Republicans have done about any of it.

This is exactly what I see happening. I'll still go cast my vote, it doesn't cost me anything. But I don't hold out much hope of it actually counting.

No kidding. In the face of evidence the democrats would still be losing their minds over if the vote went the opposite way, the republicans do nothing. That’s because they are all part of the swamp. They wanted Trump out because he didn’t play well with the swamp creatures and they were afraid of being exposed. They can shoot their mouths off all they want and pander to their base; it’s their actions, or in this case inactions, that out their real personhood. We have a one party system with two different swap creatures pandering verbally to their voting base, all the while doing what ever they want and what ever they can do to line their own pockets and keep anyone from messing up their take from the hard working tax payer.

I was as shocked that Trump won as Hilary was. I'd proclaimed during the O'bummer years that it was quite likely we'd never seen another Republican president, at least not in my lifetime. They underestimated the Trump support and didn't build in enough margin for error.

That said, the Republicans have been silent on all the issues of late, especially this one. Lots of people I know call them cowards, and I agree to a point, but I think there's more to it. I'm convinced Washington politics is like professional wresting and little more. Come out and yell at each other for the camera, mix it up a bit knowing full well the outcome, then go in the back and have a drink together.

Nothing will ever be done or changed. Both sides have historically benefitted from it. Why change something that allows them to place anyone they want in office?

I don't know how I feel about this report. On one hand, I'd like to think that this can't be done in my country, but then I look at what happened in 2020 and I have to say that anything is possible. Will the citizenry stand by and let it happen a second time? Probably. Will there be hell to pay if they try it again. Not likely.

So what's going to stop them from doing it again in Nov 2022 and Nov 2024. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
