Tangent 7-35, yeah alright you have my attention.

SOME NOTES on that 7-35...

10m parallax...shorter OAL than 5-25...similar travel...:love::love:
All I wanna hear is if it’ll have a new wide angle eyepiece and the jtac reticle.

Not if you want it to have the brilliant edge to edge sharpness TT is known for, yes a wide angle eyepiece is great for wider FOV but usually at the sacrifice of some edge distortion.

"Shorter" than 5-25, well that will be interesting, especially since ZCO went "longer" with their 8-40, I will be curious to see how eyebox, DOF and parallax forgiveness compare between the two...

If they offer it in a coyote anodized version I'd dump my 5-25 for one lol

Nope, I wouldn’t have mentioned it if it weren’t true.
I kind of figured that as you're not one to jest, but I am quite surprised. During my extreme elevation testing (where I turn the turret until it maxes out and will not turn anymore) the 34mm TT 5-25 actually performed better than the 36mm ZCO 5-27 which is designed to perform at extremes, to be fair the TT is only 28 mrad max travel while the ZCO is 35 mrad but I was expecting "better" performance even with 35 mrad out of the ZCO - was it unusable, certainly not, but there was definite image degradation in the ZCO compared to almost none in the TT. I am guessing the new TT 7-35 will offer greater than 28 mrad of travel hence why they went with a 36mm tube, also knowing that many shooters are investing in ZCO and 36mm rings/mounts already. Kind of shows the pressure that ZCO has put on the industry in just a few short years - which is a good thing, more pressure from stiff competition forces manufacturers to innovate and improve which is a good thing for the end user.

Lol! I will never look at that reticle the same again!
Great optic, though- super glad they are expanding the lineup!
