Spotters Swaro spotter options ?

The STR is an 80

It would be nice if you could get 15x SLC with reticle

If you get the STR80, make sure to grab some rails and an RDS.

The FOV sucks balls…

You could always sell the cert and get what you really want.... A Spotter 45 with reticle

25-50 Eye piece is good

That’s the only SWARO with a reticle

I love that scope, but the double eyepiece one would be great too

Marginally better. Still would benefit from an RDS, If you're having to spot a variety of targets under time constraint.

Henny smokes it in that dept.

The str 80 is wonderful. The only thing you might not like is the red reticle. Its an illuminated reticle. So switching it off also allows this to be used as a regular spotter with no reticle.

Best purchase I have made for long range shooting.

Slight overkill, but they've got you covered and the spotter is awesome

$2500 for a no name spotter sounds dicey. I would buy a Kowa at that price.

Kowa is an amazing optic, absolutely. Revic is a division of Gunwerks so hardly a no name

I'm hoping the btx eventually gets a a reticle option, best glass I've ever used and own. Got the doubler and am constantly amazed at the image.

I love my Kowa but want a Henny so I can have a reticle...I have stopped wishing that Kowa will ever offer a reticle

EuroOptic stop stocking them. Guys are still wanting to buy them. But it’s a crap show in getting Hensoldt to respond.

That’s why they’re getting snatched up in the PX. Only way to get them right now.

This is where I'm gonna say that based on the conversation I heard at PRE...

Note: both were set up at the same height and less than 24" away from each other.


The Swarovski has a beautiful image and resolution.
The Hensoldt cuts through mirage better and trace is much easier to spot.

Ability to see impact went to the Henny.

Not my observation, just a conversation I overheard between DT and someone else the day after PRE.

IIRC, he was the guy that owns Bravo Actual steel stuff. I could be wrong, but that's what I remember.
