”That is because, as Roggio explained, al-Zawahiri was "hiding" in plain-sight, i.e., he was not hiding at all.

"Zawahiri was killed in the Sherpur neighborhood, in a home run by a deputy of Sirajuddin Haqqani. Sirajuddin is of course one of two deputy Taliban emirs as well as the interior minister," Roggio explained. "Zawahiri could not operate in Afghanistan — particularly in Kabul — without the consent of the Taliban. He wasn't in the remote mountains of Kunar, Nuristan, or Nangarhar, or distant provinces of Ghazni, Helmand, or Kandahar. He was in the Taliban's capital."

Sounds like the Taliban & CIA are picnic partners out in the poppy fields where they catch up on old times & also discuss their new neighborhood watch program.

Hey Taliban remember if you see something say something.

And we have other more important issues facing this country like border security, reigning in spending, stopping govt from taking away more freedoms and Rights, etc. to care about some has been terrorist right now. This is a distraction.

This is midterm bullshit by the current administration. In my opinion this was a bad move. Biden is currently poking Putin and China so this only adds fuel to what might become a large fire.

This take is largely correct and has been for a long time, but the train left the station about 20 years ago and most of the people on this forum were cheerleaders. As Hunter S Thompson said, "buy the ticket, take the ride".

biden says we got him the last time he said his admin did anything good they did not take out the terrorist they intended , but a school bus full of kids I will hold my happyness in that another terrorist piece of crap is dead where they all belong . could you give him his adda boy pat on the back a little closer to a steep flight of stairs so he him self might fall down ? that would be a sight to see .

That guy gets killed like every year. I've had little faith in my government's ability to be the least bit truthful about anything decades ago. At this point I assume everything they say to be an out and out falsehood. This particular iteration under Potatus also suffers from chronic incompetence. I'm pretty sure they didn't actually do anything.
