Recently put a viper gen 2 pst on one of my rifles. Got it zeroed. Removed windage turret to set zero and now can’t get it all the way back down. Tried lubricating and gently tapping with rubber mallet to no avail. Anyone had this issue with this scope? Suggestions to solve issue? Thanks.
 
The turret can be a pain. Mine can be hard to get back on. Make sure it’s on straight and give it some slight side to side turning. It will go.

Make sure the set screws are fully out (not removed) while applying steady pressure.
 
You don’t even need to remove the windage turret. Just loosen the screws and turn the cap. Too late now.
