Who here is shooting Rocky Mountain Bullets specifically in 338 and 375

Looking for a good hunting bullet for the 375 Cheytac and these look not bad, Nathan Foster does a very favourable review on them

Target is Sambar Deer, similar body mass to Elk in the full grown stags

I also have 338 Snipetac and 338 Edge so interested in these projectiles for these also

It of a tight market for these long range type projectiles here in Australia we don’t have a big choice

Are you sure the Cheytac is enough gun? I have shot the hammers in 375 and the bears were impressed for about 10 seconds and then they no longer cared as they were out of blood, granted it was only a 375 Ruger. I would worry about complete bullet destruction with a standard cup and core out the Cheytac and Snipetac that is why I mention the Hammers they are solid copper. I have switched over to monos and enogh gun for hunting, that way if true trophy comes out and I can't get a great shot I can get to the lungs from any angle, and I don't have to worry about blowing up on the shoulder of a heavy boned bore.

Two holes is good, two big holes is better.

Pretty sure the Cheytac is enough gun, I am not going to hunt with a BMG

We can’t get Hammer projectiles here in Aus, there is a small supply of CEB though (but insanity cost)

My comment re: your Cheytac was said tonguein cheek, given tone does not carry well through plain text I should have stated such up front.

Can you get Barnes bullets in Australia? If you can they are a good option also in the field of monos.
