I have a AWC integrally suppressed 77/44 that I would like to get a non ported faster twist barrel installed on.
AWC apparently doesn’t have the tools to chamber a new barrel.
Does anyone know what my options are to possibly get it rebarreled?
AWC did say they could disassemble it if I found a smith that would do it but can’t work on it with the supressor on 🤷🏼‍♂️

Anyone have any suggestions?

Curtis Tactical in Ohio, Suppressed Weapon Systems in Texas, Innovative Arms in SC, and SRT in AZ all make integrally suppressed versions of the 77/44. SRT claims 1.5 MOA on the Douglas fast twist and I'd be very happy with that.

I have a integral 77/44 as well (Dark Horse) that has terrible accuracy, really terrible. It's on my gun wish list to have redone at some point.

ECCO Machine. And I'm sure you're aware, can't be bubba smith'd. Gotta be SOT 👍

What is the twist on the fast twist would it still work on supers ?

I like that some options are popping up in the post finally.
Going to try and make some Calls on it this week

I didn't think about Ecco machine, that's a great option as well. He's a first class guy that's interested in the actual performance of the product, rather than just the sale of the product.

Yes, most (if not all) of the smiths mentioned in this thread will do one for 38/357 as well.

Contact Dave over at Liberty Suppressors in Georgia. He does lots of custom and oddball work. Never used them, but I hear he's one of the best out there with the custom and odd stuff.

Let us know how it turns out, as I understand the SWS method they cut a monocore directly into the barrel and sleeve that as opposed to using baffles or an attached monocore, I like to get a first hand report from an unbiased user.

Thanks, going to meet with them next week.

I know it's an old thread but how did this go?

I'm interested in doing a 77/44 integral and would definitely consider SWS.

But someone above mentioned Elite Iron. I know they're top notch but not sure they do that

Stamp is in, recent knee surgery has delayed me picking it up. here is a pic before ceracoat.

Where'd you get that sweet stock? Do you know yet if it's free-floated?
