What is the best type of pen to use and do you use a solven of some type to wipe off the old dope between stages?

Been using mine for a week, really like them. I've replaced 4 of my Cole-Tac dope card cheat sheets for these; the extra rigidity helps keep the card exactly where I need it.

Been using these the past few times I went out and really like the simplicity of them. Decided to make a laser engraved card according to current load and a 90* wind. Turned out pretty good I think.
