I think people should have the right to wear stupid pants and hit a ball with a fucked up bent stick if thats their prerogative.

Most of places that face drought have always faced drought, and the lack of water is due to mismanagement vs some kind of crazy thousand year drought. We have been in a severe drought in my area since a court ruled we had to send 40% of our stored water to KS every single year. Our lakes have all mostly been dry since this ruling. When we get a big rain, and some get some lakes refilled. Its all gone in two years filling our obligation to KS. I am sure much of what was stored in the CO river basin California has run into the ocean to save some minnow that never died out in 100 years with a damn there, but was dying out because there was a dam there.

I don't know about that course (and admittedly didn't read the article) but most courses use reclaimed water. Some to the extent that they are stinky when watering. That said golf courses and big lawns in general in the desert make me shake my head.

The stupid thing that "La Resistance" wanna-bees with the purple hair and the Monkey Pox... don't understand... is that the holes on golf greens get moved all the time!

Pour concrete down a hole. Wow. What a horrible thing. 5 minutes later, the plug is removed, filled with topsoil and a plug from the 'new' hole you opened up. And your green is good to go.

Do they have any idea the carbon footprint that it takes to produce cement? Plus tell me they used mules to get to that golf course. No they didn't. They drove a 30 year old Saab with failing fuel injection, no catalytic converter and spewing oil smoke all over the 50 bumper stickers on the back window saying "Zut Alors Savez la Planet Mon Dieu."

You know what 'Does' work? Going to engineering and science school and getting an education in designing, building, engineering and researching things to solve problems. Protesting everything is a waste... but probably the only thing that these retards are capable of, being a bunch of mentally-retarded incel hemp-addled stoners...

Ah well, if they didn't exist, we would have nothing to make fun of. And what fun would that be?

The more water that drains into the soil the more ground water there is. Some evaporates, but thats is why most courses water at night.

Rifle Ranges are probably going the way of the golf courses; exclusive places that only high rollers can, or would, access.

Look around; recreational shooters are already an endangered species.
