So I finally got to handle a C2 at a local dealer. With that being said, they only had one in dlc, is it worth the extra $ to buy the dlc barrel threaded/bull version and x serrations? ? Also looking to see what everyone is running for an optic and iwb/aiwb holster. I plan to place an order here within the next few weeks but would like to have a plan set so let’s see them edc setups.

The gun is built for the DPP, so you don't need a plate which raised the optic over bore like the other choices. Someone above mentioned that it kind of sucks to conceal vs a G19, I very much agree. I would bypass the C2 and get a P. Someone else mentioned the threaded barrel, 100% this from the start and you can save cash getting it in stainless.

I'm a big SRO fan. So it's either that or the DPP since the DPP seems to fit very nicely.

As for DLC, I like it and think it helps it from getting dirtier/gunked up as quickly.

If it ain't a Trijicon SRO and a Tier 1 AIWB holster, it ain't shit.

Holosun pistol optics suck at being a gun sight, though they excel in the useless gimmicks department.

I bought a Jarvis DLC'd threaded barrel for my C2. It was $350.

I don't think the DLC coating is worth it. It literally does nothing for you. I paid for it on the original barrel but it's 100% cosmetic.

I will say, I think the C2 is a terrible concealed carry pistol. I don't even carry it anymore. Technically, by measurements, it's just a little bit bigger than a G19. But when you carry it it's a big difference. For one it weighs 8oz more than a G19. It's a big bitch to stick in your pants.

I have a P and I think it's a great 2011. I use it for USPSA. I don't really know what to use the C2 for. I just got the threaded Jarvis barrel and shot a few rounds suppressed with it. 🤷
What do you typically edc?

I have a Staccato-P with a Leupold Delta Point Pro that is my duty pistol. I didn't see the DP-PRO on you list but found I preferred it over the Trijicon SRO. It probably shouldn't make a difference but for whatever reason I can pick up the dot quicker in the "square" (Leupold) window than I can in the "round" (Trijicon) one. Also, I would not recommend a threaded barrel unless you where absolutely convinced you needed one. When you put a threaded barrel on almost any pistol you immediately limit your holster options and they also tend to be a f*&^ trying to carry concealed. Last, and I don't know if this is controversial or not but people who make pistol barrels for a living, e.g., KKM Precision will argue that threading the barrel reduces their accuracy. I can't validate this personally, but those guys make very, very excellent barrels so I'm willing to take them at their word.

[Edit] P.s. If you qualify, Leupold has one of the best Fed/Mil programs going.

Now I’m leaning towards a P instead of the C2. It seems like everyone prefers them over the c2 setups. As of now I edc my kimber ultra carry in the summer months and carry my Smith 40 or Glock 20 in the winter months.

I absolutely love my "P", in my humble opinion it comes as close to a S&W PC 945 (albeit my 945 is a .45 and as far as I'm concerned the finest shooting semi-automatic pistol ever produced) as any current production pistol being made today. Can't go wrong. Check out the DP-PRO as well. Good luck!

P.s. If you qualify, Staccato's Heroes Program is also excellent! I went with the Optic Ready, Steel Frame (you can order it with an aluminum frame to reduce weight) and the DLC barrel. Had it in 10 days.

Yeah I plan to order through their program as I’m federal LE. I’m amazed at how much they do plus the extra mags and mounting plate it’s a great program they offer for sure.
