Looking to upgrade. Started shooting out to 1,000 yards now and looking for a good spotting scope for that distance. Clarity is where my current spotting scope is lacking

Gonna be hard pressed to beat the clarity of the Swaro BTX.

Got a old school bushnell 15-45. Not bad but need a serious upgrade. Would like to stay under 1,000 if possible

There Is a Kowa in the for sale area somewhere.

Lots of good used glass in the for sale area.

I’m kind of an antiquer though and I like shopping EBay for old glass.

Really like my Meopta S2 82HD. Its a big boy, but good weather I can see 6mm bullet holes in paper at 850y. For smaller unit for hunting is an Athlon ares g2 15-45, it does a lot of things well for the price point, plus can get a mil reticle for it.

I can't say that I've ever heard of that kind of performance. Impressive!

What are you using now for a spotter? Price range? And what are you shooting at?
I don't know how anybody can make a valid recommendation without the OP answering these questions.

Weather conditions need be optimal, overcast, no mirage so pm hours on non high temp days, later afternoon evenong hot or large temp swing days. White paper is necessary. I was blown away!

I have the Kowa 884 with the Wide Angle eyepiece...it's pretty spectacular. Liberty Optics (Hide Vendor) on here went above and beyond to put one in my hands last fall.
