I have about 10k pieces of brass that I need to remove the crimp and uniform the primer pockets. The thought of having to do those two processes seperately have me wishing for options. Preferably on that can be chucked in a drill press and do both processes with one quick pass.

one way
Military brass will need the crimp removed and will probably benefit from flash hole work . They are good for AR work out to about 500 yds, and practice with bolt guns

RCBS makes one as well. Been using one for ten years at least

Have the Super Swagger 600. 1 peice at a time, very time consuming and repetitive, but it works

I ordered one of these from Midway. It came yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

One option is "don't do it
Buy new lapua brass and enjoy skipping the crimp removal/uniforming.
Me ? I'm truly stupid.
I have zillions of crimped brass also
I use a decrimping die and a uniformer one piece at a time and learned to love it.
And i loaded tons of it (both 762x51 and 556) and get good performance 175smk with 44gr varget matches fgmm 175smk
and 23,7gr TAC matches imi77
And I'm happy
But I figure most people would be happier to take the lapua path and sell the crimped brass :)

this holds the inside / outside chamfering tool, Size your brass ,{good luck if it's .308} trim to length, then to the primer pocket and the the case mouth inside using a cordless screwdriver

What I've tried in order of preference from hated to okayish-

3.) Hand drilling
2.) Super swage
1.) Rock chucker Mighty armory swagger tool

I'd like to try the lee APP next but the mighty armory is honestly pretty good.

If you combined that with a case ejector from inline fab you could rock and roll at a good clip.

Not like Dillon 1100 speed, but there's so little setup time you might come out ahead.

Buy a Dillon 1050/1100. Station 3 swages the primer pocket.
Kinda hard for most of us to justify an 1100 for 308. Planning on aquiring one for 223 case prep soon though. I don't have the time and patience to swap all that over to large primer.

The perfect solution is to send it off and have someone else do it! About 4¢ each and WELL worth it!

It’s a 2 step process for me, but I don’t deal with a lot of crimped brass. RCBS primer pocket swager followed by a primer pocket uniforming cutter on my Hornady case prep station.

I gave up and bought a second 1050, one for small primer and one for large. Works well.

One more for the Super Swagger 600. Does a great job on the primer pocket of crimped brass. It has has 2 different mandreals so you can do large and small primers.

Cutting out crimps is the best way of removing them. RCBS makes a great dual angle cutter for this. I found it best to chuck the case in a drill and spin it very slowly while holding the cutter in a threaded case prep handle. It takes maybe 5 seconds per case.
