I’m not sure where this post should belong.
Hello everyone,
I am currently building a rifle with the goal of competing in prs style competition. I am from Missouri and I live near wentzville. I would like to find a place where I can do a little bit of practicing before I go to my first competition. I am on the waiting list for Gadsden in Iberia, but there’s no telling when that will go through. Does anyone have any recommendations of anywhere I could get at least 300 maybe 500 ish yards. I would mainly like to get used to dialing elevation and start to grasp the concept of shooting long distances.

Missouri Mile Shooting Ranch at Macks Creek Mo. just outside of Camdenton. Steel targets out to 1250 and then one out to a mile. Julian holds PRS comps there and has several props set up. Julian is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. No membership required just a small fee to shoot
daily.

@hdbull any idea of the fee. Just curious. I’m very interested. although stl benchrest is 30 minutes away I have heard some interesting things about them hating certain shooting techniques.

What have you heard they dislike ? I am a member there.

I have just heard that they had problems with prs style shooting. Quick repetition, different positions, stuff like that. It seems more based towards f-class.

Yes shooting to 1200 yards is an additional one time fee of $1000. I have never been on that range so I have no clue how it is over there.

No I shoot prone almost all the time and I have seen guys shooting off props that have been okayed by the range .

Rapid fire is not allowed.

I had no clue there was a wait list. Contact Scott Piper on the website he’s the president and would know.
