Is here any one who has or had this MDT Elite muzzle brake?
Should be self centered and no need tools to mount to barrel.
I did just ordered it yesterday, but would like to hear some opinions of this, if any one has tested this one.

I don’t have one of these but by design it should work very well having 35* angled ports. The downside will be the blast back on the shooter.

I am biased and therefore can't give you the best review on this product, but I can tell you that I have been running one of these for the last few months on my match rifle and some of our other test guns, and they have been awesome! Initially, the concussion to the shooter was higher than we liked, as @M338 said, so we made some clever design changes to mitigate that :)

Here is a picture of me shooting this brake on a dusty stage in Colorado this year, and as you can see that the dust cloud surrounds me, but the concussion wave isn't actually affecting me as a shooter.

Either way, it's your choice and I am here to answer questions if you have them ;)

Went to the range today.
Tested recoil managment.
This MDT brake is by far the best muzzle brake i have ever shot.
Eat´s recoil almost 100%, and it does not blow any dust to shooter face, but if you are spotting little bit lover than shooter, you will get it :)
But so does every muzzle brake.

More in this video.

Great video and I am glad to hear your impressions on the brake! (y)

Quick question for those who installed this brake, what is the length added when installed? My barrel is 29" right now (left it long, haha) and it has to stay this length to fit in my gun safe with the muzzle brake added. Just need to figure out how much I need to get cut off my barrel before the brake arrives. Thanks

I have two 26" barrels with these brakes installed and both are now 28" roughly to the actual breach face. Depending on the action your barrel is going into, you'll most likely gain around 2" of OAL.

Thanks Josh. I have my action/barrel out right now and thought may as well get it threaded for a brake since it was in the plans already. I received my MDT ACC chassis yesterday, added the vertical grip (just have to play around with length), loaded it up with some barrel weights, added the rear bag rider and will get it all ready for the weekend

Got mine in the other day. Very user friendly and easy to install. Really helped to stay on target. Reduced the recoil on my 6.5 to nothing. The felt recoil was like that of a 5.56. Very happy with it, in fact I ordered another to go along with my new build

I have been shooting with the MDT Elite muzzle brake on my 6.5 Creedmoor for just over a month now and have been very happy with the performance. Recoil is down to a 223 Rem, the felt recoil back towards the shooter is very minimal. For the amount spent it cannot be beat, it is half the price of others I own and works just as well

Yeah I'm interested to hear some thoughts. Will be in the market for a muzzle brake soon

There is no need for a crush washer correct with the MDT elite brake?

Installed and shot with it. It’s a great brake but the shooter does get the muzzle gasses back in their face.

Also shot a Hellfire self timing brake and that’s a really nice brake and system.

Then why not discontinue the elite brake. Or inform buyers. I didn’t know this until it was on the gun and used.

I understand the frustration, but we have just recently released the COMP brake and it will never really completely phase out the Elite brake as it is double the cost and appeals to a different market of shooter! We have had a lot of shooters have a lot of success on their rifles with our Elite Muzzle Brake, it just doesn't have the same feature set as the COMP brake.
I have and shoot the comp brakes. They are super nice.
Thank you! A lot of R&D went into that brake and we're happy to hear that people are liking them so far!
