25 Creedmoor Data

Anyone aware of signs of life at Blackjack Bullets? Like others, I await a November 2020 order, and recent attempts to contact have been unsuccessful. Trying to determine whether I should kiss my $400 goodbye and move on to Bergers.

You won't be getting those bullets or your money back. I'm $500 deep.

Thanks! Not what I wanted to hear, but good to know. Anyone attempted any collection action?

Don't want to hijack this data thread, but as the website appears active and backorders can still be placed apparently, I don't want other 25CM shooters to fall into the same trap.

I have ran out of blackjacks and started on the bergers, and they are performing great.

Those that are using the 133 bergers and H4350, can ya'll share some load data and brass that your using.
I finally got my 25 zeroed in yesterday. Had a mix of Peterson LRP and Peterson SRP with the 65 StaBall. I had light ejector marks and sticky bolt from 42gr up to 42.6. I stopped at that because the bolt did get heavy and ejector mark did appear more. I believe velocity was around 2780ish on a 23" w/can.

How is everyone enjoying their 25CM? I am currently shooting a 6.5 CM (~1,200 rounds in) and am debating my next barrel. Currently debating 6GT or 6CM but 25CM keeps coming front of mind.

I love mine and still running 131 blackjacks until
I run out! Things a hammer.

As you’d expect. Less then the 260 rem/6.5 creed but more then the 6 creed. Of the 3 rounds I prefer the 25 creed. I like the benefits it offers over the other two but would go for 25x47 Lapua next time I think.

I do prefer my 6 bra to the 25 creed but both have there place

I love mine, the 133s shoot great like most Berger bullets. Don’t see much benefit over a 6.5 creed, but 1/4 bores are cool.

It’s unofficially official at this point, and looks to be a quarter million dollar theft/fraud. Who knows about litigation, but its certainly warranted at this point.

Crazy the website is still active. What a dumpster fire.

Anybody try the Hornady 110gr E-LDX bullets? It would be awesome if someone else would make a heavy 25 cal bullet. Kinda sucks just having one option

No reason it wouldn't work. If thats an acceptable weight and BC range for you, then there are a whole bunch of available bullets.

What is your all thoughts about running staball 6.5 with 25 creed alpha srp brass. I’ve been running 43.7 grain with 135 grains Berger .020 thousand off the lands and seem to hammer. My question is how tough if staball on your rifle?

I'm running the same brass powder and bullet. It hammers . Staball cleans out easily.

I like StaBall but wasn't getting the velocity I hoped with Peterson LRP and SRP. I just got my hands on the Alpha 25CM brass. It weighs less than the Peterson so I think i might get me better velocity if I can pack more powder using alpha brass. Testing to continue...

I was shooting 6.5x47 before switching to this round and I find that you get pressure faster with Paterson brass over alpha brass or even Lapua brass. I’m not saying Peterson not good it is just what I discovered is all.

Has anyone heard an eta on when to expect the Hornady 134’s to start being available?

Sorry to revive an old thread but have yall found the 133s to be jump sensitive?
I haven't played with seating depth yet which is next on my list but I couldn't get these to group right at my initial seating depth.
Thanks

I don’t mess with seating depth much but they grouped well for me at .030 to .050 off. 1/2 MOA over multiple groups. The easy button is a tuner, made load development a lot less time consuming for me.

Yea that was my next go to but I was trying to make it a dedicated suppressed rifle for hunting. I originally loaded up with StaBall w/ Peterson brass but didn't like the velocity I was getting, and I reached pressure signs around 2800fps give or take. I switched over to h4350 and alpha brass and was able to get better velocity and I think I found better nodes, just didn't group well, just terrible actually. I looked through the bore (about 140 rounds now) and everything looks okay. I just have some copper I need to clean out hopefully when I get home today.

Right now it's just new brass ran through a .256 mandrel, chamfered and deburred.
Rock Creek 23" 3b contour.
Just a little something something for fun.... and hogs!

I'm going to load up some more at different seating depth and see if that improves.

I just loaded some 133's for my son's 25 Creed today with Staball. I'm curious what your OCW test looked like since I am also using the same components. (Peterson LRP, Fed210m)
It seems like some guys are seeing pressure in the high 42g range and some guys no issues pushing 45g.

Any loads for Barnes or other 100 gr and also Nosler BT 115 gr? Just wanted to try a couple light loads for fun.
Thanks.
