Ouch, Take that, motherfucker.

On the other hand, left to their own way, the ranchers would kill every last one. What a loss that would be, just like the near extermination of the bison. When you see these critters in their habitat it can be a really nice experience, jsut be smart.
But back to your OP, that video was hilarious. Been showing it to folks at work multiple times. Everyone gets a good laugh out of it.

I didn’t know donkeys could, in the words of Roy D Mercer, administer a “good old country ass whoopin” like that.

You are correct wolf packs are devastating cattle and everything in MT, ID, and Wyoming

If they make it to your AO remember the three S, Shoot, Shovel, and Shut up.

Game warden here says the same thing.

I'm really somewhat surprised that the donkey didn't break that dog's leg with that bite. They are no joke.

Don’t need the wolves with proper management either way, not that we should kill them all but they aren’t required
Cattle arent required either.

Yes let’s eat tofu and have high estrogen levels.
Thats apples and oranges not the same. Cattle, like most things we have and do, are an option , and not native to the land. the wolves arent, they are natural predators. You bring food into their AO, what do you expect. So you justify killing them off to maintain your profit. thats a choce, not a requirement.

BTW, I dont eat tofu, you go ahead.

Wolves are believed to have come from Eurasia so they weren't native at one point.

Doesn't mean you don't control the population...
This is getting stupid, but why not allow the wolves to control the cattle population? Oh, wait, money.

If theyre threatening you or your family is one thing, but for money is another. By youre reasoning we should kill all the bison so the cattle will have mor land. Lets wipe out every deer and elk for the same reason. the almighty $$$. If it eats grass, kill it.

Fuck, might as well kill the eagles because a grown eagle can kill a calf.

Okay baby girl we get it you have a hard-on for wolves even though most of that isn't the same at all.

And you’re right most of what you just use said was was stupid.

Hey @diggler1833 just let the dogs kill some your cows maggot says it’s just money, you only ranch as a hobby anyway. 🙄

Well, youve proved yourself a non thinking idiot, once again. Rather than continuing to lower myself to your level Ill just end my involvement in trying to reason with stupid. But you really should learn reading comprehension.

I read exactly what you said and it’s stupid, read it again....still stupid.

You can’t read, I never said kill all of everything, I said deer are over populated because bleeding heart liberals keep cities from controlling the population, also wolves aren’t some magical end all be all of animal regulation. Wolves or no wolves populations of animals can be controlled when it isn’t blocked from being done.

Here’s an example of some stupid shit you said, you even set up the fact you were about to say some dumb shit without realizing it.

“This is getting stupid, but why not allow the wolves to control the cattle population?”

They are confined cows, not wild cows the population cycles because we slaughter and grow more, no wolves needed.

No shit, damn sure ain’t Mr. Ed

It's unpopular that's that's another problem that needs to be controlled, damn wild Horses. Watch some videos about how they destroy the ranges they live from overpopulation do to BS laws.
Was that a wild horse in the pic? I didn’t know, I thought he was just pissed at the bicyclist.

A couple of decades back when I was stationed at Hood I read about a Marine that decided to solve a wild horse problem with his rifle. I think they court martialed him for it.

I’ve heard that horses can tear up a lot land pretty quick.

No idea, just made me think of it.

Calf prices at market for a ~700lb steer or heifer (mine averaged 721lb steer / 683lb heifer last time) were 1.75/lb and 1.70/lb respectively for "average" a week ago at the National Stockyards in OKC. I never sell 'average' calves though.

That means each 'average' head is worth $1,190 - 1,225 ballpark. It'll cost me a bit over $200 to feed and properly vaccinate. Each calf lost is a lot more of a financial kick in the pants than most people think.

Losing a cow is worse. You'll probably only get $1/lb or so for an older cow at market, but that's $1,400...plus it'll be two years to replace her with a productive heifer that was born at the time the cow was lost...so tack on another $2K if you go that route. Or you can go to the sake barn and buy somebody else's "issue" for $800 and take over their headache.

No such thing as a wild horse.

Feral horse. They don’t belong here in the wild.
