Received the Bog Deathgrip Bushing, Bolt and Adapter Plate and installed it yesterday. Awesome job of coming up with this kit. Fit was perfect. Was like a five minute job to replace the original parts with your parts. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to convert their Bog tripod. Thanks.

I'm a real noobie in the tripod game and was looking at the BOG Deathgrip tripod. In order to get the most bang for the buck, which tripod should I get to go with the full kit?

This is awesome as my first rifle with an Arca rail is coming in tomorrow from area 419, and I still will have the option of using the clamp for my other rifles.

I would just get the Original bog deathgrip and then get this kit. I believe the ball head is what makes the tripod more than the difference between the BOG models. This is just my opinion take it for what its worth.

Hey. Has anyone came up with an extension to make the death grip taller? I have to stand awkwardly or bend over all the time when using mine, I want a ball head adapter as well but need it 8” or so taller…. Thanks in advance

Just received mine last week. Hard to describe how much better it makes the Bog tripod, much more useable!! Wish I'd of bought this sooner!

Help me out. I have ARCA rails-I'd like to mount my deathgrip directly to the ARCA rail on my rifles. I need that kit. Is that considered the full kit?
Ill send you a PM but if you never plan to use the deathgrip saddle again then you would only need the Bog Deathgrip Tripod Ball head kit only $95: This will come with the ball head, bushing and 3/8-16 bolt to attach the ball head.
Then you can just lock your rifles with ARCA rails right into the ballhead.
If you ever want to use the deathgrip saddle again on a gun that doesnt have an ARCA rail then you will want the full kit $110 that comes with the adapter plate to allow you to bolt the deathgrip saddle into the ballhead and clamp whatever gun/accessories you want in that.
