No. and the website does not inspire confidence, no updates to be found there.

Their facebook page has the latest updates. They have been hit with some supply chain issues, but it has been coming along. Shouldn’t be much longer.

Facebook is such bullshit.

Nobody should use Facebook for anything.
Anyhow, as I said when I put down my deposit, if it shows in 2022 I'll be happy.

I blew off my v4 slot because of all the gripes, so fingers crossed the supers a winner once it finally roles though.

I can't stand Facebook. I won't put it on my phone at all and haven't done anything with it since 2016. Not sure why any company would use Facebook exclusively for anything.

Supertrickler seems to be progressing onto the first mass-produced batch, but its slowed down by supply issues with components and as typical for EU products it needs to go through many hops to be CE certified.

That is super interesting. It's been a while now. I'd love to see one in the wild and see how it works.

Is the general consensus that the supertrickler is the way to go over the V4?
I am waiting on my V4 but it has been delayed until Dec/Jan Should I bail and go the other supertrickler route?

Both will be an upgrade for me.

Many thanks!

Considering no one actually has any time with a supertrickler, no.

I have one coming Nov as well, 🤞🏽it's as cool as it seems to be.

How do y'all know when they're coming?
I pre-ordered, paid my deposit, but haven't heard a word.

I asked the owner when they would be hitting the market , he said they Started to ship Friday and if I ordered one today I’d hopfully get it late November . And I just got my v4 after 8 months of waiting wish I pulled the trigger on this first seems to be faster than v4

My only concern is it costs $130 more then the autotrickler v4, and it's brand new and not proven by thousands of people and years of r n d. The only positive would be if they can keep supply up so it's in stock and not a multi-month backorder.
Yep, Adam McDonald has spent years improving the AutoTrickler & is great to work with. They have production moving along with the v4, but demand has incerased at an even faster rate. Love my AutoTrickler & a history of knowing Adam will take care of you if there’s a problem.

I put a order in yesterday, figured I’d give it a go. Like the fact it’s all one unit, I’ll keep my v3 kicking around just in case. From the email I got should have it late November.

So I made it through the thread till about halfway through the prairie dog debate.

Anyone actually know how this isn't direct competition to the ATV3/V4? What different space does it occupy in the market?

What's it like to empty the powder? How user serviceable is it?

It's different because it's vibratory, versus rotating tube AFAIK. Meaning overthrows are unlikely. It's firmware upgradeable and you can save preset settings (versus calibration method ATV4 uses).

Empty powder from the bottom.

Erik Cortina has a video up as of yesterday. If this continues to look as good as the initial reviews, I'll probably get one this winter.

It's competition in that it delivers a preset charge automatically. But then so does the Hornady Auto Charge, RCBS Chargemaster, etc. It does use the same lab grade scale so that makes it one step closer to the AutoTrickler. By everything I have seen so far it will do it more accurately, faster than the AutoTrickler. As @NiteQwill mentioned it shouldn't require a v1, 2, 3, 4..... as the firmware is on site upgradeable and parts are upgradeable. They have already said they will offer up 3d printer files at no cost and reasonable prices on parts should a delivery tube upgrade happen, etc. It has charge logging, faster delivery and IMO better integration with the scale. Though many have commented it looks like a coffee maker and I can see that. It is a more expensive better solution from what I am seeing. Enough so that I have one on order fully paid for. Mine should be in the first production batch. I hope it lives up to expectations.

I am a little skeptical on powder draining/changeout. I hope that works as shown. If it does, it will be better. The programming is great. I prefer the way they have integrated it rather than an app that may lose compatibility two phones down the road and probably glitchy Bluetooth connection version to version. Even my Samsung Headphones to Samsung phone gets glitchy sometimes. It is supposed to allow multiple powder cups if they are remotely close on weight. So you can drop one charge then be filling a case while the next is dispensing maybe six seconds apart. Then swap cups, etc. Basically no waiting for a charge if it take at least 6 seconds to fill a case. Faster would be possible but accuracy/overcharge issues start to creep in.

The development process has been interesting to watch. They seem to have it very dialed in. There are a lot of details well thought out that are too much to type here. I was close to ordering an AutoTrickler when the development of this started up and I was intrigued. I'm glad I waited. So from that standpoint I guess it is competition to the AutoTrickler. But if the AutoTrickler wasn't out there I would have bought a Chargemaster or Auto Charge. I haven't heard of Hornady or RCBS getting bent because the AutoTrickler was developed. Can't say the same on the other way.

I dont like the fact that you have to remove the whole unit off of the scale and use a funnel to drain the powder out.. I also don't care for the stubby cup handle.. Also any powder that does miss the cup by chance is going to make its way down around the pan and into the scale possibly?? So once again you'd have to remove the whole unit again to clean the loose powder out. Also what operates the trickler tubes? All that stuff is hidden away inside, so if theres a problem, your either sending it back to Australia or digging in to the unit. Other than that, it looks nice. The software looks pretty good as well.. Time will tell..

Well I ordered one, we'll see. The thing that gives me comfort is the ties to A419.

Any ideas of what the weight will be? I know it's stupid but I tend to correlate weight with quality. Need to mentally prepare myself hahaha.

Does it still have those ties? I haven't seen anything else about it on their website.. I may have over looked it though..

Went searching for some confirmation bias...

I would blur names but it's all our there for everyone to see on FB.
That's good man, I hope it works out for you. I think I'm really gonna like my V3 and ingenuity precision trickler.. I sold my new V4 after reading the negative feedback and after seeing the ingenuity precision.. Its supposed to be here in a few days, can't wait! I like the simplicity of the V3, less things to go wrong. Lol..

who is selling them in the usa ? Was following until Area419 pulled out.

to be honest... Cortina hasn't touched a product he doesn't like. Same as the Ultimate Reloader (Gavin) dude.... So I take everything with a grain of salt from them.
UR will do anything for money it seems. I don't think Eric is that way. I dont see him pushing anything that he doesn't use or support. I could be wrong but I just don't get that from him.

Selling your own product doesn't make you a shill...
He makes a sales pitch for a product which does not do what he says over the aggregate. Either way… I’m sure the product is as good as he says. My v4 is pre-sold with ST arriving shortly.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Supertrickler.

Did you preorder in January?
I have, but I haven't heard anything. Might need to reach out. I don't do Facebook (as nobody should for any reason ESPECIALLY NOT FIREARMS) so maybe I missed something.

Ordered in full when I found out about the ST early September , so expect it soonish (LOL before xmas)- Have had AT since V1 , now have V4, regret selling my V3 setup, also have the IP trickler (when the correct powder discs come in for xtra large grain powders, I'll decide weather to keep it or not) Just hope it makes espresso decently

Glad I kept my V3. With the IP it's awesome. Just waiting for the ST to ship now...

This is the procedure for your pre-order. Email confirming address 2 weeks begore ship. You'll need to make final payment a few days before it ships so you are at least 2 weeks out. I pre-paid and am order #569 so right there with you guys.

Thanks for sharing that.

I don't know how they're smart enough to write machine learning algs to optimize powder throws but get stumped on how to send an email.

Excited to get mine regardless, #300 😊
