Triggertech 2-stage, can anyone share feedback?

I'm thinking about buying a Triggertech 2-stage flat for a Rem 700. Does anyone here have experience with this trigger they can share? Bonus if you can compare it to a Timney Calvin 2-stage. Thanks in advance.

Has triggertech changed its tune? They are “for clone actions only”. I think. Terrific triggers but may be some issues with a true R700. I could be way wrong on that…probably am. I have a Calvin elite too. I like cartridge style triggers. The fewer small screws the better. Probably indistinguishable once each is set up but the TT is easier to adjust.

I have no idea, I did not know this. The description says it is for R700 or clone.

Have had a lot of them, and have switched everything over to Bix. They are both mac daddy. Lambo vs. Ferrari...

I have had both. My Timney was sent back to Timney twice. I hated how much over-travel it had and how it broke. I was never happy with the way it felt. Timney let me trade in the 2 stage for a single stage CE which is a nice trigger, but not what I wanted. The Triggertech is awesome. I ordered it as soon as i got the email that it was available and it's exactly what I was hoping it would feel like.

I've got 6 of the TT 2-stage Specials (7 actually, I have a spare) so suffice it to say that I'm a big fan and I've had zero issues with them. 2 of them are in Rem 700s (so they have the bolt release). I ran the TT single stage Specials for years and realized a few years back that I slightly preferred the 2-stage so swapped everything over.

I had the a tt 2 stage then sold it and got a diamond and I regret it. 2 stage is the way to go

I have the TT Special 2 stage in two Remington 700s, and also in a Vudoo. The Special comes with a removable bolt release, so it is compatible with Rem 700s and can also be used in clones. The Diamond is for clone actions as it has no bolt release.
