I agree with all the points except "vote on election day only" but would agree to "vote in person only". I would give it a week before the election to open up voting. My points are:

  1. No mail in votes except for military abroad
  2. ID must be presented to vote
  3. Your #4
I would be okay with your modification...that's probably actually what I meant. In person. I understand the point on the week leading up to the election; but...fraud is so bad, that gives a LOT of time to concoct stuff. Granted, DeSantis has it working well in Florida.

A week does give time but I am concerned about "day of" because of "equipment being overwhelmed", "we cannot find poll workers", "we ran out of paper and cannot get more" and many other excuses.

Ahh but listen to some and he is part of the problem, they are all bad.

ANYONE see what I am trying to do here, I doubt the rock does, but anyone else.

There are "good people" out there, people trying to fix it, trying to do the right things at ALL LEVELS. I see it daily, and yes I see the other side of it as well.....but the good does outweigh the bad.

I so want it to work, I want to repair it, it can be fixed, it is worth fixing.
While I admire your ability to remain optimistic, I think it's foolish to think it can be fixed in the acceptable fashion. There are some good ones out there that believe in protect and serve. Mostly rural and small town. My prediction of actions of nationwide law enforcement: 5% would stand shoulder to shoulder with us freedom loving types. 45% would recuse themselves, take no side. 50% would take up arms against the citizenry and gun down any dissenters. I base this on my personal friendships with sworn officers, my own interactions and observations both personally and the "news". My .02

We have to exhaust all efforts to fix the problem, before taking more drastic measures. Yes, it is worth the effort to fix.

So basically this judge unwittingly just said that you can call 13/60 the root of all crime and there is nothing the school can say. But I am sure they will say THAT is discrimination because it is about 13/60 and not whites........
This is exactly why PedoPeter is loading federal benches across the nation with far left radical Soros funded types!

Bad shot or heat of the moment...another reason nobody should be magazine restricted!!!!

One thing I have seen, or did see on a few boards I visit was the.....well that Dickins guy did not need 15 rounds. And I would reply he was not being shot at.

Being shot at does different things to different people, and there is really little telling how things will go. Shakes are fairly common, you are a bit stressed even if it is not flying your way.

I should have read all the way down, sorry....I tend to ask questions when I see them.

I can see nothing that would not be "fixable".

Perhaps I am optimistic because I am "mostly rural and small town". I am close to Kansas City, and that is on a fast track to every other big city hell hole.....and some of that does drift this way.

It very well might be foolish to think this way, I just don't want to toss it all down the crapper, just so much to loose....I am not ready yet, but it seems with each passing day I move to the just hit the handle side of thinking.

In talking to the people in the area where I work, and in the city I think your percentages are wrong. You could be basing your numbers on what the press wants you to see. You never see the day to day good and only so called bad. Sure there are some bad people, they are people. Where I am a very dim view is taken on that side of things, and I doubt it will change in the next few years.

Good deal or No deal?
Russia is hopeful it can agree a prisoner swap with the US that would include infamous arms trafficker Viktor Bout, known as the Merchant of Death.
It is the first time US or Russian officials have publicly said Bout could be part of an exchange.
Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday he hoped the prospect of a swap had "strengthened".
The US has previously said it was eager to organise a prisoner swap to release US basketball player Brittney Griner.

I've been alive a lot long than I care to admit; but how is it back when I was a child; long before the PC was ubiquitous we had results of the election the night of the election. Hell, since before I was born even. Our election system is completely broken, rigged, and a sham.

1) PICTURE ID!!!!!!!! NO ands/ifs/buts/whats/etc.

2) VOTE ON DAY OF ELECTION ONLY. I'm starting not to give a rats ass if you're on vacay, in hospital, etc...cannot make it...tough shit. I didn't vote one mid-cycle because I was changing residences and states. Could I have...yes, in the old state since it was < 30 days. But I didn't - I'd already surrendered my DL to the new state. Exception to voting at polling location...Military who should still vote in person on post/base/ ship.
2b) If one cannot be bothered to vote in person...again, how are they going to actively direct the corporation's business (go back to my stance of vote and income tax). Voting shouldn't take more than an hour of time in line.
2c) Polls open for 15 hours, not 12. Then, no excuse of "I work a 12 hour shift" can play.

3a) THUMB gets dumped in that ink that doesn't wash off for oh...say 2 weeks. Ps...that saves on the "I voted stickers too."
3b) Vote twice - maybe thumb gets removed. I don't know...seems like penalites we have now don't do shit and these lawbreakerss are rewarded!!

4) Elections must be resolved within 48 hours of polls closing (allowing ONLY the military vote to be counted), all non-military counts must be done within 6 hoursof the polls closing - NO EXCEPTION..NONE!!!!!

5) Must be registered no later than 1 month after the PRIMARY takes place to vote in overall election. Also, no party jumping within 6-8 weeks of a primary.

Absolutely! All of the above are ideal, but the most beside #1, most important #2 -Election DAY. The fact that Florida got away with it is a mute point, extended elections are used by some people to CHEAT. If it means enough to you - you get your ass out to vote! Even if you ass is broken like mine - you will still do it. I am 100% for making it a national holiday, (we have holidays for less important things) so there is no excuse. The last round proved elections are otherwise pointless without effective and stringent RULES and COURTS that will uphold those rules.

No. I don't care about the arms dealer, but let's make this swap worthwhile. Brittney is a traitor and doesn't deserve the $$$ and effort put in to secure her release when she broke the law! We have other Americans held against their will in our other countries and our OWN that committed no or less crimes.

Joe again demonstrating how out of touch he is. The people genuinely afraid they can't afford that their homes this year do NOT have 20K+ to spend on solar panels, just like people that can't afford the gas prices can't afford a new EV. When you have stolen millions by taking advantage of your government position, you have no idea how normal law-abiding Americans are struggling. And we can't afford illegal drugs and prostitutes like your son either Joe!

Maybe we can do something about the J6 political prisoners?
You know that won't happen, for the same reason that the people behind "2000 Mules" were arrested despite this administration's insistence there has been no election fraud in 2020. They want to make it clear to the American people what acceptable behavior is in face of obvious fraud.

Let us compare the priorities of the US vs Russia:

Russia wants to get back a substantial arms trafficker while the US want to get back a black female basketball player with a penis. Hmmm,... am I the only one that thinks this is a statement about the two countries?
