Glock 27 with 9mm conversion barrel.

I tried the smaller/thinner 9mms and my dickbeaters are too big to shoot them worth a damn.

I carry IWB at 8oclock (lefthanded) in a comptac with untucked shirts, but I also like carrying on my right ankle via an aliengear ankle setup......when wearing tucked in polo or dress shirts. I don't wear tight soyboy pants so the G27 doesn't print at all.

Great to have a 17rnd mag in my pocket too.

No one cares what you think

308pirate is hilarious and a forum treasure (except when you are on the receiving end of his wit)

I honestly don’t carry anything in public anymore. I used to carry a G43 but now that I’ve moved to an area with demographics of 1980s sitcoms and where there are more cows than people I just don’t care.

I butthole carry a Gen fo' glizzy wit a switch. Only way to stay safe on the streets of the front range 💁🏻‍♂️

I’ll second what @powdahound76 says…
We take care of pistol “wounds” of all calibers. Unless it’s a head shot it is very “treatable”. Rifle caliber wounds are not.
That said I don’t want to get hit with any of them 22-44 but especially rifle cals!

It's hard to beat a S&W J-Frame... I've got a 642 Airweight .38 Spl, and a 340PD AirLite .357 Mag. If you need more than 5 shots, you probably shouldn't be carrying a gun in the first place, or they're too far away for it to be considered self-defense.

Another one of my favorite CCW options is my S&W Shield .45 (no thumb safety). The 7+1 capacity and Federal HST 230 +P's is a nasty combo.

I had shield arms mags. I didn’t have reliability problems other than failure to lock back which isn’t that big of a deal to me personally. My gripe with them was I sweat like a pig in summer and the tended to rust but still fed fine.

Sig P365 has better mags but was just to small in my hands.
Springfield hellcat pro wasn’t bad either.
Or you could pu extensions on the factory mags
I went the Hellcat Pro route.

Yes OUCH!!! I have a 360PD, same gun with hammer, and some stout loads will back the lead out of the cases and lock up the action. While you are trying to hold onto that little rubber grip. It's a ride that I don't like to take.

Do you take pictures of the mice and rats you catch ?

That's 190 of the 635 so far this year...
Yep, kinda got an idea of the bullet performance , just a little.

And, kinda like the nappy headed outlaw renegade Rengage character, you get tired of taking pictures and then answering a bunch of questions.
And then, you quit posting pics bc nobody wants to believe you...

CC It varies... Glock 43X, 45 with TRL7, or the DW.
Sig P238 if walking around in gym shorts.
Ruger MKIII with RAD22 if on a secret squirrel mission.

Today, the 43X.

, mag guts internals in a 10 round that lets me carry 12+1, extra 12 round in a NeoMag, and a 15 round magazine in the truck.

After I lost 30 lbs it was harder to hide the XL frame with no belly.

They make 17 round magazines for that now...

I've carried my 500 S&W in the public sphere, 425gr super deep hollow points at about 1400fps.

And I wonder what the guy in the study 308 quoted would say about the liberty defense 357 sig ammo that runs 2300fps, and I think their 10mm is even 2400... Perhaps that is what we should all be running, and the thing is, that really isn't a joke, it may actually prove beneficial in a significant way.

Nonetheless, I wonder if anyone here extends their claw out on their appendix holster? I just decided to try this on a new holster I got for no reason.
The claw mounts with 2 screws, right, the normal modwing or whatever it is, generally you put it right against the outside of the holster body.

I put a spacer between it and the holster to try out and it is insane how well my 320 carry with a 21rd mag in it conceals. The tall height end piece wasn't enough.

And this isn't some long attempt at a joke, just actually something I recently discovered to actually be a huge advantage. I've also been trying multiple oddball claws, the deep concealment metal claw is fantastic as well.

21 round mag, conceals great, 11 o'clock, 12 o'clock, 1 o'clock, all of them were great with the claw extended out further by spacers.

And the thing is, you can use about anything for spacers, cheap ass washers, the counter sunk pieces so the screws look pretty on the holster, stack them, or a metal/wood block, whatever...

I'm just saying, you'll go from wondering if you can conceal a 15 round grip to realizing you can conceal a 19+1 CZ P09...

Anyways, I'm going to get a 3.25" double stack 1911, either the Bul or the Wilson EDC X9, I think. Back to a shorter barrel and slide for faster draw to first shot times where tenths of a second really come into play in a big way.
Wish the P01 Omega would've been a good option, but firing pin issues, de-cockers backing out and so on... don't think I can do it.

Good luck gents.
