Accuracy International AT-X

What is that spacer meant for? It came on my AXSR chassis as well and to drop an Impact it, it had to be removed.

Does it help with the Zeus's AICS mag over-insertion/bolt dragging on feedlips issue?

Ya I can set the gun on the mag and I get the slightest resistance on the bolt but the bolt will still cycle fine. If you push back on the mag with it on a bag and prop it cycles fine.

Nice. Kudos to AI for a nicely engineered feature...even if I'll probably never use it :)

I have the AI bore guide(.308) for the AT, while it works with the AT-X, is there one out there sized for the 6.5 class?

I can’t imagine there’s a difference since the case is very similar. If it was it wouldn’t allow cleaning of the carbon ring by the neck

Somehow another one followed me home the other day - and it weighs 50% more than its baby brother....

Steel City Precision Team Sniper Challenge (1 Day). The match format was hike/find/range/engage. We covered about 8 miles total. All stages were completely blind. Stage brief was posted 100 yards or so from the stage. No Q&A after reading stage brief. We were lucky enough to come in 3rd. I was running the ATX with a hinge 🤣

It took a month or so for me to get mine back from them, but they indeed will get you taken care of no doubt. I spoke to one of the guys at their shop, ironically the day the new one shipped out, and he told me what they found with my trigger and the cause of failure.
1 week turnaround for me. They put a whole new trigger in. WAY better. Very nice!!

That match format reminds me of Ryan Castle's PPRC match years ago. I really liked that match

ATX in 22 creed with 90 grain Atips is a deadly combo if you don’t care about the fur. Got one at 436, 330, 280, and 75 yards last night in 25-30 mph winds.

Nice! Could you squeeze a top rail under there?
With SPUHR SP-4006, H1,35" mount:
The remaining space is about 7mm below the Vortex Razor Gen II scope.
If I mount a Kahles there is about 9mm between the bottom of the scope lens and the long bridge.
The difference between the picatinny rail and the full bridge is 6mm.
You can calculate the rest, depending on what you want to mount on the rifle

I just want to give thanks where it's due, to AINA for getting me out a new trigger for my ATX in literally a week and a half. Got the new one installed today and it feels much better. It is greatly appreciated!

What was wrong with it ?

10 days sounds great when you’ve driven 12 hours to a 2 day lol

Second stage had some creep in it before it would break. I'm lucky enough to have a friendship with a guy who let me borrow his comp trigger in the meantime however

First thing I did was adjust mine to a single stage, not sure why, but on a bolt gun it just feels more natural to me

Is this a legit range of adjustment on the AI comp trigger?
It's supposed to be....but it seems to have caused issues/failures to occur more often for those who do, at least on the original version. I think there were a few tweaks made on the AT-X version, so maybe it's better?

4th bullet point under additional features, “ User adjustable to single stage operation”

There are instructions on the adjustment in the booklet I do believe (pretty sure I followed the little pamphlet in the bag). I probably have 1,300rds without fail - and it’s adjusted to about 8oz pull, as light as it would go without failure (any lighter and the sear wouldn’t catch or a small bump would cause it to go off). It has nice windows so you can actually see the parts interact with each other and see what effects your adjustments are having.

The 2nd ATX in my picture is adjusted with 2 stage at about 12oz each for a total 1.5lb pull. Each have their purpose and in general I wouldn’t recommend the 8oz setup unless you’re on a bench with bags in a controlled environment.

Anyone have a ATX chassis and run 223 in it? I seem to get an issue with feeding with the last 2-3 rounds out of an accurate mag and impact action.

Figured I'd just make a quick video on what's the most likely issue there and how to properly set it up for single stage action.
