Get the G45 if you do. It’s 5x, but same size as the G33 3x.
Slightly less eye relief, but not bad.

I like the 50 shades of FDE look too. Just need a Spuhr mount in FDE and a grip of some kind.
Very sharp. B5 makes a coyote brown grip that’s pretty nice.
I’ll have to check it out. It’s kind of silly because I actually like the hogue rubber grip but we all know looks are more important.

Strike is now making a rubber overmolded grip that's actually quite nice. folks may give them some shit, but you can get the 15deg version in FDE and I found it pretty comfy. first encountered it as they were the only ones doing an overmolded CZ scorpion grip, and it was the same as their AR grip so it got me to give that a try.

It's getting there. I'm going for 50 shades of FDE and 50 of ODG to take it to the next level of earth tone insanity. Painting the mags and RDO when I get a chance. Have a new grip and safety selector coming in some time today. Magpul dust cover and mlok rail covers.

Bringing this back from the dead as I just got my new build complete.
It’s all spray paint. 4 diff colors though the upper and lower are pretty close. Natural light brings out the differences more than these “soft white” bulbs.
16” mid length 308 w/ adj gas block. This doesn’t even qualify as a budget build. It’s a full on poverty build. The upper, lower, and barrel were all at least 1/2 off when bought, and the upper/lower manufacturer no longer exists (17 design). At a flat 8 lbs w/o bipod, glass, and mag; it’s not light weight, but it’s no pig either. I built this as an experiment regarding light weight AR308 rifles. My other is closer to 12 lbs naked.
I’m really digging the color of the handguard. For those that care, it’s “nutmeg.” Tactical nutmeg.
