Dude sold me a Trijicon SRO over 2 weeks ago and hasn’t shipped it yet. Looked like a newer member but had some activity on here. Even asked for a pic with his username and the SRO which he sent. Figured he would be a stand up guy like 99.9% of the forum but no such luck yet. Maybe he’ll return my money or send the SRO but I’m not counting on it. I’d advise you all to stay away from him

Yes I used paypal FF and I know what I was getting into. No big deal I’ve done plenty of deals on here it was just a matter of time before I got taken by someone

Did you report it with the report button ?
Yes I did this morning. Just hope the dude doesn’t screw anyone else. I was hesitant but because he sent me a pic with his username and the item was only $400 I figured I’d give him a shot.

I’ll still give him a chance to make things right I just don’t want him screwing anyone else

As Frank has said many times, that's like the bat signal for every professional scam ring to activate their sock puppets and try to make an easy score.

Also, as I keep telling everyone (but all the FUDDs get upset at me offering such a simple solution),
Insist on a video chat with the person and the item. While not perfect, it WILL weed out a large amount of the professional scams.
If they give you some B.S. about they can't do it or don't know how, just move on. Every POS cellphone and laptop these days has a webcam and the apps are free.
My suggestion is regardless of if you are the buyer or seller, insist on a video chat with the other party before any deal is commenced.

Chances are your money is long gone and the gang has moved on to their next target and probably doesn't care if the sock puppet got burned.

Yep I agree the moneys gone. Not that big of a deal. Just wanted to put it out there in case he tried to scam someone else
