lets see your foundation stock

ABR from Long Shot Precision. I fabbed the mounting block from brass stock. The Foundation stock material is so dense that you can drill & tap for fasteners.

This was a SAC built rifle originally. The guy sold this and a bunch of others to GAP (mostly unfired). It was a 25 SAUM, which got removed and I had GAP put a new Bartlein on it in 6MM GT (New bolt as well). So, long story short.... SAC did the Night Bridge, I pulled the side mounts off of it for now.

Who did the NVG mount work?

Do you have weight on this rifle?
Yes I do.. with the full arca, associated bipod, sling and mag it is like right at max weight for Open Heavy at 15lb 11 ounces. With the pic rail a bipod and short arca same sling and mag it is is like 14lbs.

Has anyone “customized” their forearm?? Possibly cut a flat spot into it for a thumb shelf?
Thanks

Not sure if this is exactly what you are talking about but check it out.

That is EXACTLY what I’m talking about!

“Hill Billy cut”

Thank you!

Think that person had the Foundation folks do that, or set up the table saw and let it rip?

Love my foundation, but the only thing I’d change is- for it to have some real estate for a thumb shelf.

Edit- called John Kyle (such a cool dude) it’s about 100$ plus shipping and about a 3 week turnaround.

Thank you for your replies

I went that route, just got it back and buttoned up.

Total turn around time from door to door was 3 weeks on the head,

It’s exactly what I was looking for, it’s not a big cut but it’s just right, added a little grip tape to be on the safe side.

These Foundation stocks look pretty amazing. The material looks like it would be very rigid also.

Asking for a friend, has anyone used TREX or knock-off brand composite wood to CNC a rifle stock? Just curious how rigid in comparison to materials used in McMillan or these Foudations composite lumber would be? (and please understand, the answer should not be "just buy a completed stock" - some of us like to make things and it's the pursuit of a homemade product that is the goal) . Thanks in advance.
