Like the title says. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this scope?

I had one on a hunting rifle. Build quality was great. It tracked perfectly. I think the optical performance degraded above 20x. At 24x the picture was dark and a bit distorted, especially around the edges. Turret feel was fantastic. Honestly some of the best turrets I’ve ever felt. Focus was VERY touchy. It would focus down to around 10 yards, but out at 100+, very minor adjustment made a huge difference. The glass was good but it was not as good as other high end optics. Mine was about on par with NF NXS scopes that I have. For a light hunting type rifle I liked it. For a tactical rifle I think there are a many scopes that are better suited. Just my .02.

I've had a couple March's including this one, my experience is similar to dirthead but my turrets were pretty mushy and mine had glass that was very impressive, controlled CA better than my Schmidt's which surprised me but Schmidt and others did better with resolution and contrast. Lack of depth is an issue as well, narrow FOV compared to other scopes but those are some of the tradeoffs of having an 8x scope in a short body. My thought is that they are overpriced for the market today, the new Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 will be priced considerably lower, granted we have no idea how the NX8's will hold up optically but I sure do like their price point. One last thing, the FML-1 reticle is a bit thick for my taste and wish they would redesign it, I know they have the FML-T1 but that reticle is too busy for my taste. March is known better in the F class arena and while they've tried to enter the FFP arena they just have not listened to the community with regard to reticle.

I have one on my Vudoo and love it. The floating dot is a tad big if you are going for single hole groups like the Vudoo is capable of, but for match shooting it does great. Glass is excellent, better than my Kahles. Turrets are excellent as well. The parallax is touchy above 100 yards but being NRL22 is 100 yards and closer, that is not an issue for me. The parallax is touchy but if you use the optic enough, you get used to it. Zero stop is excellent as well.

Hopefully being a newer design the nightforce minimises some of the drawbacks that the march has because nightforce reticles are great and digilum is also great.
I really dislike all march reticles. If they weren’t so bad I’d probably have accepted the drawbacks of the 3-24x42 and be running one at the moment because it is so lightweight and where I’m from everyone is always going on about how good the glass is.
I'm not holding much hope this will be the case, if NF has figured out how to improve on the design of the March and provide an optical equal at almost half the price I will be shocked. But hey, I'd love to be shocked with the new NX8 high powers as I'm all for better optics at lower prices, unfortunately, the way optics work - lower prices typically mean compromises, so we'll have to wait and see.

Lowlight did a great review of this optic a few years ago , have a search on You Tube . I have one on a light hunting
rifle and its copped a beating in conditions from well below zero to 115 + in the desert . Focal depth is shallow as
part of the design ; if its focused , parallax error is eliminated . Sweet spot is minimum to about 20 , tracking, turrets
and RTZ has been flawless despite several knocks and drops . Its lightweight is appreciated on long humps uphill .

March would be very well served by the addition of a few better reticle options . I'd like to see a hybrid of a reticle
like the Tangent Gen 3 and the new MIL XT .

I have one on a lightweight hunting rifle too.

I have shot it from 16 yards on coyotes to 1600+ on steel. My findings are as others above.
Very lightweight
Tracking and RTZ has been perfect
Glass is on par with Razor Gen 2
Mag range is unbeatable, but does get darker @ 20x+
The best at cutting glare I have seen
Reticle is great for hunting, but a bit thick for tiny groups @ 1000+
Good color, no CA, but a bit flat
Parallax is touchy but usable

It’s not out yet, I said “I’m wrapping up” meaning I’m still working on it. I have another review in front of it so it’s still going to be a bit.

I’m wrapping up a review with Schmidt 3-27, March 3-24 and NF NX8 2.5-20. The March has the FML-TR1h reticle with circle of death making it very usable even at 3x
Very excited to read this. I was an early adopter of the NX8 2.5–20 and really wanted to like it but couldn’t get past the finicky parallax.
