Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

I just got my shipping notification.
Originally ordered 3/25

Not upset I expected an 8-10 month wait

Love my manners stock, dealt with them 3 times, but no matter what they tell you the wait time is, never believe it. Always add at least 10 months to the estimated time and you might, if you're lucky, get it in that time frame. Paper form 4s are faster.

It will all depend. I did alot of ETA requests today for guys at 3-4 months who's orders are already hitting the finish room. During the craze we accumulated a hefty backlog but we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. A lot of orders are moving through quick. Email me your order number and I'll be happy to look at it and see what I think may be realistic.

Thanks for your support!
What would be the current lead time on a lefty tcs. Also could you point me to any dealers that would carry them.

The Lefty part has me wondering. I’ll need to get with the shop on that. Any other model is no big deal but a TCS and LRH have a bolt notch molded in. We are running a “blank” mold that will not have that for people that either want a LH or they want their inlet moved forward/backwards. We have the notched molds in but I need to see when the other mold would be down. We are about ready to launch the tcs in our new process which should really speed things up like the LRH and EH1 is.

As of now I would want to quote 6 months on that but hope we can get that down. The

Second eh1 from a late March order arrived. Impressed in the stock once again. Manners got the inlet right for a thicker shank barrel as i requested. Really like the tikka mini chassis.

I’m really considering doing a eh1 tikka build here soon. Those look great. Can’t wait for my tcs

Which arca rail is that? Also, looks like the top one has the lightweight cheek piece. Do you wish you had it on both?

It’s a RRS 180mm rail. Works okay I prefer one like a 4” area 419 with a little v shape to it for more/solid stock contact. The eh1tk won’t take a full length flat rail.

My first eh1tk (top) I bought the UL cheek piece. I ended up not needing any rise for how I shoot. Last one I ordered without it and prefer it that way.

Well it took a good 17 months but the TCS I custom ordered arrived and it is in my opinion amazing. Manners even found one of the old steel style rails which I was hoping for.

17 Months, that's def not normal. Was it a special kind of order or a lefty or such? I'm glad you like it but I don't want to see anyone wait that kind of time! Keep me posted on what you think as you go shoot it.

Thanks for your support, it means a lot to us!

It was a custom order and I had a cert for it. In the time it took I bought two other TCSs but this one just is my vibe.

And well worth the wait. ;) Seriously though a long wait isn't fun but when the product arrives and it's a great product like a Manners then it's worth it. I waited for my TCS too and so glad I did.

Cleary, "worth the wait" is relative. ;)

Every time I handle one of my manners I completely lose any thought of the fact that I waited a long time for it! Same every time I see the groups my Krieger barrels produce. Reason there’s a long wait for certain brands.

I’m on 265 days for my stock. Over four weeks since I paid them and it was in “first finish”. I was told it’ll be “shipped next week” , but frankly, I doubt I’ll see if before Christmas.

I understand this is a hands on/hand made product with the laying of carbon fiber, materials constraints, etc, but their website quotes 4-6 month lead time, so September delivery. Then when I emailed either August or September to check since I was planning a build on it, they said it would be November. November rolls around, and they invoice me which is fine, but then it’s 2-4 weeks from invoice. They are now at 4 weeks and no shipping info. It’ll be a Christmas miracle if they don’t blow this deadline too. I have one more order out for a stock for hunting, and if they blow this deadline I’m gonna be pissed.

I’m sure some apologist here will spew some nonsense about “OnCe YoU HaNdLe iT”, but there are plenty of other fish in the sea. If you want a stock, and need it within a couple months just buy from the hide, a vendor, or look at grayboe/McMillan/others if you need it quick, esp I’d you’re left handed.

The only thing that really gripes me is be accurate with your lead times, and if you blow them or are about to, maybe send your customers an email.

If they aren’t using a modern CRM that tracks order times, maybe they should upgrade that and make sure their sales reps/cs knows to actually communicate with customers instead of leaving them in the dark.

I emailed them in September and they said it would be another month or so. Deer season down here in Georgia is almost over so no rush anyways.

New user here. What is the bottom rifle chambered in? I’m kicking around 1/2 dozen different SA chamberings for a build to run suppressed

What is your intended usage? Are you looking for quite? Like 300blk? A few details will let us guide you a bit better

Definitely not 300blk. I’m somewhere between 6cm, 7mm08, 6.5cm, etc. Building this one to use as a range queen, but also for my family to shoot Bambi with (my wife will be able to handle it, and I’ll use it when my 2 young kids sit with me). Everything I currently have is massive on recoil and noise. So a softer shooting SA with an omega 300 (should be out of jail in a few weeks) will be a welcomed addition to the safe.

ETA I handload, so off the shelf ammo selection isn’t a concern.

Well I would say 6.5 creed or if more hunting then 6.5prc. Both are easy buttons at being amazing.

That’s a 6.5 creedmoor. Next barrel on that rifle will be a 16.5” 22 creed.

Yup! It did. It’s now currently waiting on an impact action to show up here in the next week or so.
Nice. I'm just waiting on stock. Sent the order in 12/31 but I guess official date on it is 1/3 -.-

Is 422 days from approval with no communication justification for joining this thread? Asking for...myself.

It’s funny (kind of), this is like a little support group for people waiting for stocks. I live in communist california and we the same type of thing for our 10 day wait period for firearms purchases lol.

I emailed a question recently and got a pretty quick response from Jim.
