super trickler

For those who’ve received their ST, does it come with a special power supply for the A&D scale and Trickler, like the ATV4 does? Sold my AT V4 and realized I tossed or misplaced the OEM power supply cable. Trying to figure out if I need to source another OEM one or just wait for the ST to arrive if it comes with one.

Power cable for supertrickler only. Scale uses its own original cable.

There is one power cable that the Supertrickler uses. This cable powers both the Supertrickler AND fx120i.

While true, the scale does not need a power cable once the Supertrickler is attached.

And the ST comes with that power cable, yes? Just want to save my self some money by not buying a new OEM power cable if it’s not needed.

If your using a scale that was previously used with a V3, do you need to reset the settings back to factory default?

Let me jump in here - the powder supplies are not interchangeable, the polarity on the plugs is reversed , there is a setting on the ST that would switch off the ST supplying power to the FX , but that really serves little purpose, unless you were setting up say multiple ST’s on a single scale and you did not want to keep waiting for the scale to boot up .

Yes and no, the scale programming is different, while you can just set the required switches in the scale settings, it’s easier just to reset the scale to default, and follow the very clear walk through as shown in the ST manual

You don’t need it
Sweet. I'll just wait for my ST to arrive in a month or two. Not many matches to shoot in the next couple of months anyway and I loaded up a bunch even before the clunky V4 arrived and went.

My super trickler and 7-6.5 PRC barrel are racing. Both scheduled for Tuesday the 10th.... I guess it doesn't really matter cause I'll be on all week at a backflow protection class. That's always how it happens.

Any splash issues with the ST? Also, how easy is it to change powders? Getting the thing cleaned well and, getting out every little bit ect?

How do you reset the scale to default?

Thanks for the reminder. Indeed, based on tracking mine is in SLC, UT for delivery tomorrow; so I'll print off the manual and start reading it tonight if my eyes will allow it. Sadly, at 50, 6 months ago my reading vision began to fail me and I have not yet gotten my reading glasses. Fortunately, my long range vision is [mostly] intact. :)

Lol another 10 or so years …. Supermarket cheaters for the win, I can still read a newspaper at 100 meters , oh and those damn hairs out of your ears o_O

Got mine today and played with it tonight after setting up. All I can say is this is now the industry standard. Superb and superior in every single way. The tech, the interface, the output, the data, the AI, the monitoring, the performance, the adjustability is just beyond the pale. I'm a very very discriminating customer and I'm just gobsmacked by this thing. It is beyond excellent and makes the competition look like garage tinkerers, even the prometheus looks like a cave man toy compared to this thing.

To be honest, the 5.2 second throws were with 55 grains. My daughter was with me (she's 6) and she said, "daddy, make it do 100!". My mind was set on the prior charge of 55, and I remembered the 5.2 second charges. Still awesome!
