At this point, if you still live in one of these commie states that tax 3/4 of your income and destroy your rights year after year, I'm kinda empty on sympathy. They didn't start this shit last month. It's the same thing I told a lefty chick when she complained about abortions being illegal in Alabama: "if the people where you live don't want you to kill babies, but baby killing is what you want to do, then fuck off to a state like California where it is celebrated.".
The "domino theory" isn't just about other countries. You should be very upset and very concerned.

Watch, King Pritzker will start flapping his giant jaws about how he passed a assault weapons ban even though he knows it’s unconstitutional. Seems to me he’s just trying to build his resume for some federal office. When states pass laws like this that are obviously unconstitutional they should have to fund every lawsuit that is brought against them and every one who voted for it should be removed from office and banned from ever holding any local, state, or federal office ever again.

I live in the very southern tip of Illinois. Moving to another state sounds easy, and would be if a person had a 9-5 making shit wage and no family or kids. We have 3 sucessful businesses, 2 kids in higjschool that have went to school here since pre school, and aging parents that live 10min away and will need help in the next couple years. Its not as easy as it sounds to just pack your shit and leave. Trust me, I would love to move to a free state and have suppressors, and now gas guns, ect. This state is not bad if you stay to the southern half, and there are good parts in the northern half also, but Chicago runs this whole state.

As 702lineman said, it just isn't all that easy to just pack up and move out of state. Although we winter in Florida a permanent move out of Illinois just will not happen for us in the foreseeable future. Every time I bring up the subject, the subject is shot down. I want out and want out bad. But I've been married to this lady for 47 years and she won't hear of it. It is really sad that one city in one county of 102 counties controls the entire state and there is absolutely nothing the citizens in 101 counties can do about it.

I live far north and I’m in a very similar situation. Wisconsin would be an easy jump for me, but it’s just not smart right now.
I imagine that with the recent rulings that have been coming out, in conjunction with recent rulings of the scotus, that the 7th circuit court of appeals will issue a TRO, and ultimately rule the law unconstitutional, if it even makes it to them. A lower court may still ultimately rule against it anyway. Can't sue until Beetlejuice signs the bill into law.
I'm not expert on the matter, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but that's just what I think will happen.
I understand the anger, but as long as the balance of powers are doing their job (I know), then the process works.
I just wish that there was a punishment process available for politicians who knowingly, and openly attempt to defy the constitution.

I used to think that way but with the amount of fraud that the democrats commit (every state has a blue city or two full of ballot-stuffing demoncrats) no state is "safe".
