I used to have a cat that would let me hold him on my shoulder in the shower and wash him. This cat, baby kitty, likes water. She likes to sit in the bath tub with a very slow trickle on and wash herself. She often sits on the edge of the tub when I shower.

This morning she came on in. I picked her up and into the showering water we went. She loved it. I soaped her up and then rinsed her. Towel dried and a little blow dryer action and she was good with it all 😂

Well over 20 years ago...When my wife's adopted stray yellow tabby cat decided the plants were her litter boxes I would stick her nose in her messes, then toss her into the shower, stand on the toilet, and use the showerhead to soak her down. That cat had some lungs on her. Her behavior changed remarkably after the second shower. After that, if she did something, like strip the wallpaper, all you had to do is toss her in the shower and she would scream bloody murder without turning the water on.
I would never do that these days as I got rid of the cat loving wife and have never had a cat inside my home since. My neighbors have cats (6 inside and 4 outside, they never visit. My chocolate Lab learned "get the cat" on day 3 of us adopting him.

Baby K was a stray as well. Her mom and siblings were wild and untouchable but Baby K came right up to some customers of mine and lived inside the body shop as if she were hand raised.

They asked me if I would take her because she was fond of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, they were afraid somebody would kill her accidentally.

She rode home in my Snapon truck with no drama and has been with me since. Most intelligent overall we’ve ever had and a born hunter. The first photo was the day I brought her home.
