So I went to the range today with a new AR/LPVO combo. I spent no less than 20 rounds trying to zero and couldn't get two shots within 3" of each other at 50 yards. Then I noticed that I had only hand tightened my mount and it was almost to the point of falling off the god damn gun.

As we all know, Rene' Descartes is famous for his quote, "I think therefore I am." Do you know, however, how he died? He was having a drink with friends one night. and one of them asked him "Rene' are you sober enough to drive your Peugeot?" Rene' replied, "I think not." and poof, he disappeared.

The moral of this story?

Dont drive a Peugeot.

Thats a double edge sword on one hand you're glad it is something simple and nothing wrong with the scope on the other hand you are pissed at yourself for being an idiot.......Been there!

I saw someone getting a ticket on the side of the road today.
 
The Feilp thread had kept me entertained for days............I may be suffering from some type of withdrawal symptoms..............
 
I went out into the shop and worked on my truck while the sky let loose all this wet shit. Got to wrap it up soon, as I gotta get back to working. Roads round here are going to be seriously messed up for weeks with all the wet, I wouldn't be surprised if more is coming. Hope I have enough wood to get me by before I can get back out there. Shit I got last week was still a bit wet.

Kinda like I have a front receiver on my truck, I just moved a trailer around my yard and left the hitch in place, doubling my chances of hitch-shin o_0...

Was out helping a friend gather dope and dial things in for an upcoming NRL22X match. He fired 10 shots and nothing on paper. I asked did you dial your dope? He said no... I reply well you've got a great group on the bottom of the target frame wood.
 
I didn't see in the Great Thread what the financial backing was for the Flip monetary system. We used to have the gold standard for dollars, so I assume the Flip was backed by S&B optics or reverse chastity belts? Or were the society of fat fucks (or whatever the minted coins were labeled) sorta like a Bitcoin? I missed out to ask as the thread was locked as I was catching up reading.

I was afraid to watch. Cowboys have always been my team but their performance lately has been sporadic.

They went against the Eagles who had a better season record and won.

Then they played Washington and the Commanders had a record worse than theirs. And yet, they got beat hard, like they didn't even try to play.

So, going against Tampa Bay, who also had lousy season record, I knew that was no guarantee. This wild card. You could be out of the season at any point.

It was warm out too. Almost 30*!

Snow sucked, it was only 3-4 feet deep. We need a few more good storms. I found lots of logs for traction.
